Perhaps SonicPass isn't doing as well as expected.

wow. this is 100% worth it in my opinion. i will buy this in november. bought way too much stuff recently. UVI is incredible. toybox, prepared piano, world suite, drum anthology. amazing stuff.

499 for me. this is going to be completely impossible to pass up. I'm f**ked.

UVI, hands down, no question whatsoever in any dimension of space and time.
(in my opinion). Though I think Omnisphere's pure VST synth side sounds better than Falcon's synth side, but thats debatable.

Otherwise, UVI combining and layering their different sample libraries and mixing with Falcon and all the endless possibilities and the sound quality... no, I take it back. Definitely get Omnisphere. UVI sucks...

The terms of upgrading to the bundle are clear. It's covered on their site, link listed in a post earlier or you can just look on the UVI site. If you upgrade based on owning produicts, those products become part of the bundle and can not be sold separately after upgrading. very clear.

And yes, sometimes it would make sense to sell the separates and buy the bundle. You have to go with what the offers are. If the offer doesnt suit you, there is no need to post about it - just move on.

I invested more than 1500 Euros in their products, and they want 399 from me.

This is really bad sales practice if I may say so. I love their products but this does not feel good.

I have bought many UVI products in the past. The total is nearly $7000 at list price. UVI's discount limit was 30% off in many cases. In recent years, it has sometimes been 50% off. Even with that, I've probably spent nearly $5000. And my sonic bundle was $299.

But if this means I can get all the remaining UVI products, that's great. The total list price of the products I can get this time is $5400. That's almost 94% off. Of course, some of them are not very interesting, but there are still many products that I wanted but couldn't afford. There's no doubt that this is the best sale ever.

Of course, this is a very good deal! Still, it doesn’t feel good to know that people who own less than myself get the same or even a better deal. If they were transparent about the pricing, many more people would stop hesitating in my opinion.

There is a Japanese proverb that says "Others are others, I am me." Don't worry about others, just enjoy this good fortune.

UVI confirmed with me what others are saying. Bottom line is if you have ever bought anything from UVI and you use the upgrade pricing for Sonic Bundle, you cannot sell anything you have purchased up to that point, including multiple copies of the same software. In my case, I have multiple licenses of Falcon and a few expansions due to previous deals that were good at the time. So even though I now have three separate licenses for Falcon in my account, I am unable to sell even just one of those.

Their policy may be clear to others, but words and phrases can have nuances, and their policy does not explicitly call out my specific situation with multiple licenses of the same software being applied to the Sonic Bundle upgrade. As I said before, I am not bitter, and I still believe I received a good deal in totality. I just wish they were a little more transparent and explicit in their public information.

I don't believe they were trying to be underhanded or malicious, and I understand it can be difficult to anticipate every possible situation. But now that these issues have come to light, it would be nice if they made this information available on their site in explicit detail so that people don't have to search forums before purchase. When money is involved, it is better to be explicit and detailed in your policies.

Now it's time to build that 9-computer Falcon cluster!

They were kind enough to give me a 100 Euro voucher on top, so now I´m happy.

What can you buy with a 100 euro voucher when you have everything

Future products?
Jeez....

Just a joke man…chill out.

Interesting though that when someone complains they get a handout which does reinforce that their pricing policy isn’t transparent. (Just an observation…. I am not bothered personally).

Drats, 399 for me, and I own a lot of their stuff. Had it been that 299, no doubt I would have pulled the trigger. Well, too many instruments as it is, best just to get the most out of what I already have :D
