We're pleased to announce the release of Corona 6.4, featuring MTS-ESP microtuning support, expanded preset compatibility, and refined workflow enhancements.

This update includes Synth1 and JP-8000/8080 format integration, oscillator semitone lock functionality, and improved interface elements.

Thanks for the update. I wish the preset system would get an overhaul. How do I make a bank from my DAW presets? It's a mystery. Pasting a preset into a slot changes all the other presets, including the empty slots, to presets that shouldn't even exist because the bank is new. Loading a DAW preset also changes all the other presets in the bank again. The manual doesn't make sense (see below). I have to continue using my DAW to store presets which will be bad if I want to switch DAWs.

Are the patches (complete original sound banks) for the JP 8000 and JP 8080 fully included in Corona 6.4?

No apparently you don't know how to mind your own damn business.

I was interested in Corona (so it is my business to research the price of a plugin I might want to buy) but who would pay $199 for it with Serum 2 at $189 at the moment? Or Rapid at 179€ or...on and on?

I'm sure someone would but there are always people who have more dollars than sense.

But seriously I might consider a purchase in the $75 range.

Of course a developer is free to set any price they wish on a product but whether the product sells at that price is another matter altogether. A businessperson who fails to consider the competition is likely to fall to the competition.

Drop a 10 song album and price it at $500 and see how that works out......

No. Same system that he had in Discovery 20 years ago.

Well after trying the Synth 1 preset import I'd have to pass on Corona at any price. It's truly abysmal. The ones I imported sounded nothing like they do in Synth 1.

I don't know how I feel about George taking another developer's propriety preset format and incorporating into his synth as I can not believe he got permission from the elusive Ichiro Toda to do so. We haven't heard from Ichiro for years and my last attempt to contact him many years ago failed.

But Georges's modus operandi has always been to stand on the shoulders of giants so I guess it is to be expected.
