I am beyond thrilled to announce the release of Impact Soundworks' finest symphonic virtual instrument yet - perhaps the finest to ever exist.

Welcome to ORCHESTRAL HIT SYSTEM: HIGH-INTENSITY TRANSIENTS (or OHS: HIT).

https://impactsoundworks.com/product/ohs-hit/

This bespoke symphonic library will bring power, dynamism, and symphonic energy to your music in the easiest-to-use interface we've yet created. By distilling the essence of the full symphonic orchestra into its ultimate articulation: the unison orchestral hit.

We spent the better part of an afternoon (nearly 4 hours!) carefully collecting, orchestrating, sculpting, and editing samples across EIGHT symphonic sections: Strings, Brass, Winds, Piano, Synth, Timpani, Low Drums, and Crash, all of which are individually tunable, pannable, and mixable to create your ultimate symphonic sound.

Explore TWO distinct dynamic layers - forte and fortessimo - to bring subtle, bespoke, symphonic energy to your music.

But we didn't stop there.

While OHS:HIT can be played as a detailed, multisampled instrument, you can also use the "Stretch Last" feature to engage a classic ROMpler-style sound. This takes the last played note, then stretches it across the keyboard (up and down) so you can play 80s and 90s-style unison hits to your heart's content.

The best part? OHS:HIT is absolutely FREE, and compatible with the free Kontakt Player 7.8 or higher. Please enjoy our announcement video and demos below.
