Only a fool would want it.
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

If you watched his recent interview with Rick Beato, he does seem to consider the UK his home, or at least his home base. It's where he got his start and has done a lot of his work.
As to the release, what a waste of time. All the AI companies would need to do to get around copyright was buy a Spotify subscription for a month. Hell, sign the AI up to a free account and you're covered because you'd be legally entitled to access their entire catalogue.

Do they expect to sell any of these? If not, then what's the point? It's a useless protest gimmick that almost nobody will hear or get to hear about outside of no-news-day press taking the piss, it doesn't make any proceeds to go towards fighting a good/silly fight because what numpty would buy it? And TBH it probably does the opposite and boosts AI when one considers the rank imbecility of any "artist" releasing silence as "art" - kinda makes art utterly useless and worthless. I'd rather listen to AI shite than silence. There are some names on there that I didn't originally have down as numbnuts, but now it appears I was wrong. The music world is chock full of numbnuts.

And to answer the question directly - no, it's not what we want. Down with this sort of thing! Not sure what we are wanting though....silent music, silent protests against AI music or AI music? Don't want any of the above.

you could mix them in to your pop songs itb, like studio ambience. ("your" here, is general, not aimed at you)
