It's quite convienient actually. When you've spent 27 hours in a row composing a tune and you are starting to hallucinate and you know that 16th cup of coffee ain't gonna help, you just lean slightly to the right. When you then lose conscience you know you'll land on the bed. Perfect

Anyhow, mine has a bed -and- a couch... in fact, probably the ugliest couch in the world (which I made uglier by making a really ugly slipcover for it).

no bed, two loveseats and the TV
(and this time of year a very large pile of quilts)

i'm huddled in a few square feet in the 'family' TV room. work by headphones with plenty of distractions.
may explain a lot of comments on recent work.
