fyi, GA5, can import REX files or sliced audio parts by dragging them onto an empty pad within Groove Agent. The slices are automatically assigned across the pads, and a MIDI phrase is created and assigned to the first empty pattern pad.

I would say yes, it also supports Windows ARM, surprisingly. Even a dark skin!
This is quite an unexpected surprise from RS.

Indeed. I didn't know it ever went away as some (elsewhere) are implying, as I've used it for going on 20-years. Even before it was standard for use with Stylus RMX. Anyway:
I discovered something.
This is part of the top of the page that loads (currently) when you click the link below. It shows a 3D ReCycle CD package you can grab and spin around to your hearts content, and/or (then) scroll down a bit, to read about "the contest":
If (however) you click the "ReCycle exe" icon in the upper left of that image, a notepad image appears, that is titled "coupon.txt"
Click that image and this promo code pops up...

Maybe I come from a parallel timeline or something, but I clearly remember Propellerheads officially retiring Recycle some 5-10 years ago.mothra wrote: Wed Apr 02, 2025 3:32 pm Recycle never went away to begin with?
I've been using it for years and it still works just fine on my M2 Pro Mini. Glad to hear its finally AS compatible though, one less app I need Rosetta for now. Wish they would put the SCSI support back in it, but got my 2.0 cd and plenty of old Mac's if I really need it.

The ReCycle web page contains a list. Plus MuLab.G-Spot wrote: Thu Apr 03, 2025 3:26 pm What contemporary or old free software can use .rex and .rx2 loops from ReCycle?

At one point everything supported REX files, you might have an easier time finding what doesn't support it.

Does these mean that they've opened the rex2 format for other converters so they can be exported by other programs? Like Chicken Systems translator and Loop Editor 2?

I've seen no evidence for this, and would doubt it happening. Not impossible, but doubtful.masterhiggins wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 4:12 am Does these mean that they've opened the rex2 format for other converters so they can be exported by other programs? The Stockholm gadget is basically a mini Dr OctoRex, and it is made by Reason Studio for Korg.
