How can I reproduce this sound starting at 0:26 with only Bitwig devices ?

I can find a preset in spire "BSQ move it V" which is another song with the same sound.
The sound is composed by 2 oscs, 1st is a PWM sent to 2 filters chain in series (infecto BP2 filters), the 2nd a sine wave and I think that sound come from the type of filters (infecto) in spire. I tried with several bitwig filter but without reaching the same result !
It's a famous 90 retro belgium techno sound similar to the 'hoover" preset found on the Juno Alpha 1, which I still have in my attic...

Belgian Hoover V2.zip
Updated the preset

Vital Preset

You do need two octaves of saws but I only used 3 voices on each
LFO on the osc fine tune and filter + EQ to enhance that frequency range around 1k

It is still, in my opinion. It is on my youtube favorite music folder. The first time I heard this sound, it was in the 90's in Belgium at the Bocaccio club near Genk. I went to music man shop in genk to buy this record (it is still in my attic )and buy, amongst other techno skuds. There were also the Bonzai, Robert Armani (hit hard), LFO, fine if you want to test your subs !!!
It is one of the music which has decided me to learn how to produce music, I'm now in my 50's and i want this track to be played in my funerals. :D
I miss that period. Now stupid famous unskilled female DJs shake there big butt and press the sync button on the mixing desk to play talented producers techno tracks... !

Then you are slightly older than me. I missed the Boccaccio period. Same for At the villa. I was more on Lagoa, Odeon, H2O (rarely), the church, la Rocca (first time I heard "meet at the love parade") and obviously the cherry moon.

Robert Armani? Circus bell over hit hard (debatable).

I have a huuuge collection from this period.

Thanks, I tried with Vital but the sound is closer to the "hoover" preset than the "move it V". the prest you sent is named "Belgian Hoover" !

I'm confused is that not the sound you were after?

Its just a sampled hoover, they just skip the initial pitch rise

You can get close with the bite osc in polymer as it has the PW saw, preset below

Thanks, that's but that's the "hoover sound", not "the move it" sound !
You can here in this other classic Belgium track starting at 0:27

The sound has more mid rang and is thinner than the hoover sound.

OK I had the time to properly analise it and this is much closer now.
Need a little EQ cause the Vital internal EQ is meh.

I tried to reproduced by duplicating spirre "move it V" preset with Bitwig native Polymers and EQ+ filters but, i'm far from that sound. It seems that thin peculiar sound are mainly due to 2 spire inferno BP2 fiters in series.

Alpha Juno Sawtooth PWM

The AJuno is a pretty simple Synth and no flag ship vintage legend - but it has this very special DX7-like sound that makes it a really unique tool.

Post

What's tricky about saw pwm with other synths?
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.
