There is a thread about CLAP support for Serum on the Xfer forum (under “General”) - it might help boost the priority if anyone interested adds their support there:

So what's he claiming to fix?
Clicks or CPU?
I don't have more information than you, but the clicks and the CPU related problems this redditor is experiencing are probably related. I have not been experiencing any of these problem myself on Windows 11 (intel) .Some functions like the spectral oscillators are CPU hungry but nomal wavetable based patches perform really well.
Wish I could say the same. Any of the Serum 2 arp presets cause CPU overload on my laptop. Ryzen 9 8945HS - not quite a cutting edge monster CPU but no slouch and I can run projects with several instances of synths known to get CPU hungry (Generate, Avenger, Diva) - plus dozens and dozens of other plugins - without getting this issue.
It's a wonderful synth. Works well enough that I can noodle around on it, make and save patches, but it's new and I'm hoping he at least has a sense of where the problem is

Yeah, I was also pretty disappointed tbh, when I saw the cpu and also how difficult it was to get rid of clicks when slicing.
But hey, it's been my fave synth for years, so I have faith that he will figure this out.

Add me to the 'not impressed by how much CPU this thing uses' list. Mac studio.

Seems odd to me that the arps are so cpu heavy...

Sorry, if this has already been asked, but can Serum 2 have per voice effects?

It seems Serum doesn't save the size of the UI. Is that normal?

Is something wrong with Serum 2's mix structure, or am I missing something?
Normally, I feel like the Main should go out to Bus 1 and 2 and then go to output, but right now, Bus 1 and 2 go to Main first, then Main goes out. This means that when you put a reverb on Bus 1, it also goes through your main FX before it goes out.

I think you can theoretically use Bus 1 and 2 for FX and then use your Main as your FX bus (i.e., put reverb there), but it's confusing this way.

Am I missing some settings regarding this, or is it intended, or is it an oversight?

Why would it work like this? Your DAW works the same way, i.e. your busses go through master by default (unless you route them differently).

You can route each Bus to Direct, skipping the Main.

I prefer your skin over the original, but for some reason, setting it to 100% size keeps the original's light coloured knobs.
90%, 110% etc uses your knobs but not 100%
Not sure why that happens.
I see some people having problems with setting default size, so maybe that's related.
