Orpheus 2 Is Here – Thoughts, Praise & Presets for FabFilter Twin 3

Hey everyone!
I just released a new soundbank and was recommended to share it here.
So yeah, let’s maybe talk a bit about this awesome synth — Twin 3. I think it’s kind of underrated. It’s not just about the sound quality (which is great), but the interface really makes it stand out.
I’d say it’s got the best UI I’ve used, right next to Pigments (though yeah, Pigments has more power under the hood).
The cool thing is how the interface actually helps you get creative — it kind of guides you to the next idea. That’s why the presets came together pretty quick, even though I spent a while figuring out the overall vibe.
Hopefully, this second soundbank is on par with the first one (i mean Orpheus I) — I got a lot of great feedback on that.
That’s it from me. Hope the sounds get you hyped and spark something fresh!
Yours sincerely,
Konstantin Klem

i have orpheus 1, so a no-brainer to add this. it's an exceptional soundset, for a much-underrated synth. great to find soundsets for twin 3

I actually don't like the UI, especially the preset browser, but I digress.
I too bought this, excellent bank, just wish after touch was part of your programming.
What I find so interesting about your patches, is that to me the keyboard ones are the standouts and at least from your videos it seems you don't even use a traditional keyboard to play.

Yeah, the preset browser could definitely be better. But the interface is kind of unique—probably a matter of personal taste.zvenx wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 10:33 am I actually don't like the UI, especially the preset browser, but I digress.

As for aftertouch, I don’t really use it much in my music. I usually prefer working with velocity. But I’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind.
I’ve got a regular MIDI keyboard, but I use Push for demos since I’m not exactly a skilled player. Push just feels more intuitive to me. That said, I do test the sounds on three different keyboards when designing them.
Thanks for the feedback!
