edit: of course those are more funky = odd rather than funky = fonkay. as for the latter, i've yet to meet the envelope filter plugin of my dreams. (or even the envelope filter pedal of my dreams...i wish the shops around me carried more stuff.)

Something similar to that happened in my company last year, actually! One of our US marketing people needed to translate a press release for our website to German quickly, but nobody in our German offices was available at the time...so she actually ran it through Babblefish and posted what it vomited out. Needless to say verrrrrry early the next morning I got an incredibly horrified call from our Stuttgart office, freaked out about the awful German translation and begging me to take it down from the site pronto before more people saw it.

Needless to say, the girl who did the Babblefish trick never lived that one down and has since been given the axe...

funky? yup. depends on where you plug it though (I have a keyboard full of JD, and a couple of the keys like the gggggg key hangs up)

With a combination of multiple metal mickeys , some arcdev fx (or generators), add in some Smart Electronix (crazy ivan, resolator, destroy fx) and you too can transcend to a new plane in which one note pressed will shatter glass and cause your enemies to kneel at your heels begging for forgiveness and another taste of your sweet sonic nectar.

Would have thought QFX was your kind of thing vurt? A lot of the units are standard effects but there are some very different ones in there. Beat Slicer, Rez, M Panner are great for wierd ambient effects. Freezer is cool also.

Great for throwing into Orions multi FX holders.
