I met him almost exactly 20 years ago when I supported him & his band at his sold-out show at The Cluny in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. They played a great gig. It was a real honour to perform on the same stage as such a legend.

i was actually playing the War Ina Babylon album the exact time he died, so was a very strange moment when the news hit. Rest in peace brother.
