That really reminds me of how Ableton Move allows you to edit parts of sequences. Very intuitive.c_voltage wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 2:28 pm What else liked yet from finds, it's method "Pin Needle" for pattern. Which allows you to focus on a small area (and this state saveable in project ie incl certain selected part), catching it out from the whole song diversity and experimenting with it separately.
Useful made.

They eye control is also very useful since it allows you to follow the pattern and then switch it off when you get to a pattern of interest.
The real beauty of Dialekt is all of those kinds of editing short cuts.
I absolutely love that dragging a step copies that step with all the associated parameters (as opposed to moving the step). Drag to copy ftw.
And being able to isolate elements in the memories page to copy either the triggers or parameters to different patterns is gold. Or copying the triggers parameters from one track to another.
Great stuff.

Thanks! Consider this fixed.apeshake wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 3:12 pm @Sugar Bytes just letting you know the “init” preset in the demo isn’t a full reset (eg there are parameter locks for the reverb send hiding in the kick track)

Confirmed, unfortunately. I will let you know when it works again.Peejay wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 8:53 pm Hello all - I'm unable to DL the demo: every time I try I get a 2.5meg file that appears to be only an UNinstaller. Mac OSX 15.4.1 Any tips would be super appreciated.

does Dialekt generate real unique Random patterns/sounds or are they kinda limited and sounding samey? the synth engines seem kinda limited?
yeah Effectrix 2 really hit the the line for me, maybe Sugar Bytes was kinda priced and sold at too many sales too low but Effectrix 2 is just a hit in the loyal customerbase. since then i never bought/upgraded with Sugar Bytes.Aloysius wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:05 pm Effectrix2 Upgrade Offer € 79

No Velocity ???? Really ?
What I really cant understand: you have abandonded something like Consequence for THIS Toy with KI marketing gimmick trailer pics ????.
All ideas lost ? All uniqueness lost ? I just realized while loggin in for Dialekt that Consequence is abandonded and then compared general idea, sounds, song ideas.....how low can you go....
I am now trying to play Dialekt threw Consequence to give my ears at least something I can listen too......

"Abandoned" is a bit harsh. Consequence was released in 2008.

The Level control is the velocity parameter.

The randomizer works with random and rules. A genre is basically a huge set of rules for every parameter. The results are most unique in the fusion genre, most samey in the tuff genre.Caine123 wrote: Sat Apr 19, 2025 9:53 pm does Dialekt generate real unique Random patterns/sounds or are they kinda limited and sounding samey?

It’s more similar to something like an Elektron machine than a synth. You don’t need velocity since every parameter on every step can be adjusted individually.
Consequence is ancient. Cool plugin for its time but things need to move on.

The manual in the Mac demo download is the Graindad manual, btw
