Looks interesting, but FYI your website links won't work as expected until you make a certain # of posts...

I miss MediaBay in Cubase, leaving that daw long ago.

I could set up a range of folders within MediaBay according to application, then setup where each of those folders scan for content, and then use 5 star grading to organize where in progress they are, like idea, recording, mastering etc.

Does this resemble how DbDone is organized?
- I would do main folders Video and Audio or similar
- activating one I don't want list cluttered with the other
- just getting the files as they are on disk listed, with a choice of columns which are relevant, and some grading for filtering

It said somewhere on your site, "no more folders", that scared me a bit.
- so I ask

I don't clutter computer with installs until I know a little more if application fit.

You list as APP, which confuses a bit since you think of tablets and stuff.
- windows also have APP apart from programs you use, that can run on Xbox too etc

I assume DbDone is windows application and not an app?

Thanks.

Hi :) dBdone works only as an overlay, your files and folders will stay as they are. Thanks for the tip about the "App", that might really confuse some users.

here is a topic I shared about why I think every producer needs a project management system:

This looks like just one more thing for me to leave half-finished.
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Interesting idea, bad pricing model/policy.

Talent - limited version, limited projects, free ok. but not the full app.
Then 8,99€ Subscription per month or 79€ per year ... quite pricey, when I can get a full (all) plugin subscription at PluginAlliance for 20€ more.
App Only for 71€ one time payment, ok, bit high price IMO. But: Updates are free for 1 year, then I need to buy another App package to get the newest version? this is essentially the same price as a yearly subescription, and is as expensive as whole DAW is then for management system? (Ableton Live updates cost around 200€ every 3 years or so)

There are already quite a few tagging/oranizing apps for less money, even with lifetime updates. Of course I have to render previews myself, but that's essentially it.
I'm not convinced I want to invest in something that pricey, or even try it.

And btw after the first year and the Welcome20 coupon, subscription/app package gets even pricier (+20%)
