.. which is the reason I still continue to not purchase any IK Multimedia products, no matter how good they are (for instance the Lurssen Mastering EQ which sounds good). It's just bloated and confusing beyond comprehension. My time and patience is worth a lot more to me than a plugin.

I find IK just crazy convoluted, looking to make simple things complicated at every opportunity, but not enough to boycott them or their products. It just kind of is what it is. They do huge sales and are quite generous at times too, so it kind of balances out for me. And ToneX has been my #1 most used plugin for a few years now and outside of Reaper, my the music software I spend the most amount of time using. I can't say enough good things about that (except the spotty levels thing - but nothing's perfect). T-Racks are hit and miss for me but the Tape Machines are still beyond compare IMO. IK would be really wise to start doing "Mark II" takes on these plugins and retiring some of the older ones.

Whereas, Izotope, for example, just gets under my skin. They'll discontinue products, repackage them, and repeat. Bait you in with cheap "new prices" then hit you with massive upgrade prices. I was really hoping the NI takeover was going to rub off on them in a good way but it still hasn't happened yet. That company has too much autonomy IMO and their corporate overlords would do well by fully absorbing them into the main brand IMO. Native Instruments RX and Ozone has a nice ring to them.

Do all T-Racks plugins come as individual plugins also? Ie: you don’t have to use the rack to run them?

The only good thing is that none of their plugins are essential (at least for me). Some of them are fun to use but easily replaceable. So if nothing changes in their uprade policy I will just move on.

You are absolutely right about Izotope by the way. I was about to mention their policy but didn't want to open this can of worms.

Yeah, that’s for sure on of the most unappealing things with IK (next to the installers and managers).

I'm glad that I read this thread. I have Modo Bass and Modo Drums on my radar for a while, however, it was always a bit too expensive and IK's reputation didn't help either to seal the deal. I'm happy to read that nothing really changed, so no need for me to spend any money :ud:

I am also one of those having iZotope on their "never to buy again from" list. They've tricked me twice, and I will never spend a single dime on their corporate practices ever again.

Does someone know whether it is possible to transfer single licenses included in this bundle to someone else? I know the licenses are registered as a bundle and added to your account, but I was wondering would it then be possible to transfer them to someone else using regular IKM license transfer procedure?

Does the individual license you want to transfer have its own serial number?
Look in your account to see if it does.
If not, I doubt that you can transfer it.
