Any opinions on this? You can get a crossgrade for $39 or so through resellers if you have Symphony/Stratus. I like it so far, but for some reason it takes a really long time to launch on my Windows machine in Reaper. I haven't tried it on my Mac yet.

I like it too. I never could wrap my head around when I supposed to use Stratus vs Symphony, and even the GUI's refresh was a bit rubbish esp the browser.

From Audiodeluxe this cost me £25, which is fair I reckon. Much quicker and easier to use and versatile.

I have Stratus and Symphony 3d bundle activated via iLok but I dont see the plugins in my Izotope account - and the upgrade offer is 135 USD - how can I get it for 39 usd?

Yeah, really! Next year they'll give it some other name and charge $199 for it with an upgrade for users of the current version only. Izotope kind of sucks as a plugin company. They probably irk me more than anyone else with this type of stuff.

Don’t go through the iZotope store, they tried to make me think the crossgrade was 135 but if you go to Pluginboutique or JRRShop you can get it for around 35 or less with discounts.

It’s worth it to get an updated combo of Stratus and Symphony, which always sounded great, with some useful additional features - but the browser is still rubbish

Post

I can’t get it to validate in logic.

as far as I could judge, Stratus and Symphony where more concieved for a highly sophisticated use as insert units, either on tracks, groups or master in a sense they are configured in a way everything could be defined inside it ... equinox seems relatively more adapted at a send/return configuration

Haven't bought from Izotope since Ozone 8. I'm sure they still make good plugins, but they cycle so rapidly from new product to deep discount to stagnant development to paid upgrade that I can't even be bothered to keep track of the upgrade paths, much less pay for them. Once you skip an update or two the convoluted pricing has you paying as much as someone who got a free Ozone Elements with their happy meal.

Maybe 12-15 years ago, when Ozone had that ugly army green theme :D and Trash 2 was new, they were doing something kind of special. Now there are many devs who offer feature rich plugins with long term support and comprehensible price structures.

How so? It seems to have all the same parameters, just in a different layout.

Waiting to demo it when it drops to 19.99

Tested demo. Legacy presets sound different from the Symphony or the Stratus. Can't get the same sound from this new reverb as I used to get from Exponential Audio plugins. No lush modulated sound, just loud early reflections sound straight in your face with dark or grainy tail somewhere in the back. Looks like tail modulation in this thing is doing almost nothing or not working as it should. For me it's a clear downgrade. Also discontinuation of the premium product that lived not so long is a Very bad move. I think I will start looking for lexicon sound from Relab or other vendors.

The tail modulation is working for me, there's just no visualization of it like there is in Symphony.

I haven't checked all the presets, but when I load "Complex Large Hall 2" in both, they sound pretty close to me. If you crank both the Tail Rate and Reverb Modulation up to 100%, you can clearly hear it working.

They sound close, but not the same. Compare Plate 81 preset from Symphony with Plate 81 (Legacy presets) section from Equinox, especially with longer tails (7-8 sec) and chorus around 72% depth.
Looks like, iZotope changed the sound of the Exponential Audio reverbs, and in a bad way.
