This is what I said right before the statement that offended you:
Lurssen Mastering EQ works in the free T-RackS 6 Intro. You only need a paid version in order to run your T-RackS 5 plugins you have inside T-RackS 6.

I see we do mention that specifically but I accept some grief since it is at the bottom of the page: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/t ... steringeq/
I point out specifically where it is and state that it is at the bottom of the page so I accept some grief about it... Also, it does state very specifically that Lurssen Mastering EQ is not in T-RackS 6 MAX on its listing on the T-RackS 6 page so I do feel that's pretty clear (as well as not being checked off under T-RackS 6 MAX in the comparison chart).

I wasn’t offended by anything. It’s not helpful to project emotions onto someone giving you feedback, and now you’re being defensive, which also isn’t very helpful.

Guys, what If you already own a normal T-Racks 6 license and you want to take advantage of the current T-Racks 6 MAX deal (€99,99); is there an upgrade path you can follow that gives you a discount?

There doesn't appear to be, which is one of the main things we've been talking about, because that feels like a bit of a bummer for people using v5 who just want side-chain added to their compressors.

T-RackS 6 MAX $/€99.99 (instead of $/€299.99)
T-RackS 6 MAX Upgrade $/€99.99 (instead of $/€199.99)

OK thanks I see it now. I went ahead and applied the T-Racks update and it did install the Lurssen EQ so it's nice that it can be ignored although as you say by a somewhat convoluted method.

Yes that's a huge improvement and something people have been requesting for a very long time.

Which is why I'm surprised there doesn't appear to be a way to do the same for MODO Drum or Bass:

Modo 042225-2.png

Because why would you add the same thing people have been wanting for years in your new plugins? Like you said "that's IK".

We just have to accept that when we buy an IK plugin our computers become their store front and that's more important to them than a pleasant user experience.

If I didn't love the T-Racks plugins so much for so many years I wouldn't bother putting up with it but I do so....you dance with the devil you get the horns.

But I've read here even within the last few days where people said they would not do business with IK for this and similar reasons so I guess they need to figure what's worth it in the long run.

It's weird that the Metering plugin is no longer available in the TR "Suite" or Rack plugin whatever you want to call it. You get I/O meters on the side but the full capabilities of the metering plugin are missing since it doesn't show up in the list of modules. You get some metering in the Master match plugin but I'm not looking to "match" anything. I just want to load the metering plugin at the end of the chain. Seems like a baffling omission just like the fact that MODO Drum doesn't publish its note names to the DAW which is something even the inexpensive Speedrum does.

Sometimes you just scratch your head and say ....why? :?

You had us in the first half, but then projected emotions upon someone in the second half.

Currently T-RackS 6 MAX is on sale for 99.99 for all. Those with previous versions and/or other software can use JamPoints to reduce that further by using those JamPoints for an extra up to 15% off.

Identifying that someone is being defensive isn’t projecting. It’s simply an observation about how they're communicating.

So instead of letting you uncheck them during install, you install all, then remove the ones you don't want via the Module Manager to uninstall them. It's more steps. But i'ts IK! If there's a way to turn one click into three, they'll find it!

Still, this is a big improvement over TR5.
I love how we have to install everything so that we can then uninstall some things.

Also, isn’t IK Product Manager their installer software? Why is there another new app for uninstalling things? And then what about Custom Shop?? I have 3 separate pieces of software from IK all designed to sell and install and uninstall things 😂

Peter, you know very well that VAT is more than the amount that can be reduced with Jam Points.
All you are communicating here is, that IK doesn't value longtime customers.
Either buy the whole bundle again or be stuck with abandonware.
Why doesn't IK offer an 1:1 (only the plugins included in 5 MAX) upgrade option to 6 MAX for 5 MAX owners?

Oh..

I only am interested in Bass One, Quad Saturator, Delay Lab and Filter Fusion. It’s crazy I have to buy the full T-RackS 6 MAX for that.

Yeah, you can buy modules separately.. priced at €99 (€120 regular) a piece.

Teksonik wrote: Wed Apr 23, 2025 2:08 pm For clarity the "Modules Manager" does not uninstall anything. It just keeps the plugins you don't own from showing up in the list of plugins you do own.

If you want to uninstall the plugin itself you have to find and manually delete the .dll or .vst3 file and then do it again after every update.
Are you sure about that?

I checked Repaer and I no longer see the "Lursen Mastering EQ" listed in Reaper after I toggled it off in the Modules Manager and applied the changes. It, by all accounts, appears uninstalled. So my experience isn't lining up with it not actually uninstalling anything.

Or perhaps you're experiencing a bug?
