And go to images, they are still available as I post this. There are two of the JP-8000 that are different than what have been seen so far, and they are in the Arturia style GUIs we are used to.
OK, that helps me remember what I was reading.

* more spoilers *

The augmented series has a new look, new morphing curves, new additional samples and articulations for strings and voices. Full versions of Yangtze and Mallets. The JP-8000 had a piano-roll type sequencer, and a new trance gate effect. There was a minibrute, and a rebuilt SEM. I think that's all I can remember (I was skim-reading, planning to read properly later).

And with a little bit more searching I was able to find a couple more images of the "Pure LoFi" instrument that are different from the one posted above. I think that completes the list?

I've not updated for a few versions but this might be the one to do. When it's discounted anyway.

I didn't get to the end of the article, so there 'could' be more I guess?

I forgot about the SynthX V, that's new since Collection X and would round out the seven instruments supposedly in this update. (Not sure if that number is confirmed in any of Arturia's teasers though.)

The 'page' is back, but with different content. It previously had an in-depth guide with lots of screen-shots etc. Presumably posted in error.
ok :)
That's a sneaky move from Future music :hihi:

So I guess the JP is real. It has the bass and treble knobs. This is a good sign. :D

"Pure Lofi" seems like it's going to be the start of a new "Augmented" type line. Where they pad the numbers and stats of the V collection with "new" instruments that are just samples this time run through some type of lofi engine

I hope I am wrong, and it's something similar to Arturia's take on "Tal Sampler" but my guess is we are going to get "Pure Lofi Synths", "Pure Lofi Drums", "Pure Lofi Strings", Pure Lofi Cow Bell", "Pure Lofi Gregorian Chant" etc

How about an 8-bit Ensoniq Mirage?
Lo-fi in the greater context, yet used professionally and loved by many.
At least I would consider that and its era of libraries as a worthwhile addition...

I would rather buy Adam Szabo's version of the 8080 but I'm looking forward to demoing Arturia's emulation

Care to share the new images of the Pure LoFi that you found?

I like the overall look of Jup-8000 V, (nice job on that Arturia!) but it might take a while to get used to seeing the advanced panel below (instead of above) the main UI.

I'll be checking to see if they emulated some of the quirks of the hardware. The hardware JP can have a distinctive rubbery, plasticy sound at times, and it has that legendary clicky envelope. The straight saw waveform on OSC 2 is also different from the one on OSC 1 - osc 2 saw is brighter and thinner. Also hope they include the analog envelope mode.
