Hi KVR Community,

We're excited to introduce MidiMacro, a new desktop application we've been building to help musicians, producers, and performers take control of their MIDI setups and workflows. You can find out more on our website: https://midimacro.com

At its core, MidiMacro combines two powerful functionalities:

Intuitive Visual MIDI Routing: Connect, filter, and route MIDI messages between multiple hardware and software devices using a clear, node-based graphical interface. If you're juggling several controllers, synths, and virtual instruments, this makes managing your MIDI signal flow much easier.

Advanced MIDI Macro/Hotkey System: Go beyond simple routing and turn your MIDI controller into a powerful command center. Map MIDI events (notes, CCs, Program Changes, etc.) to:

Keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) for your DAW, streaming software (OBS/Streamlabs), or any other application.

Define specific conditions for your triggers (e.g., only trigger on channel 5, or when CC value is above 100).

Our Vision for MidiMacro:

While the current version already offers robust routing and macro capabilities, we see MidiMacro evolving into a comprehensive productivity tool. Our future plans include:

Custom Scripting: Adding support for JavaScript scripting, allowing users to create highly customized logic, MIDI processing, and complex macros.

Community Plugins: Opening up an API for users and third-party developers to create and share their own plugins, extending MidiMacro's functionality even further.

Current Status: Free Beta & A Special Offer!

MidiMacro is currently in beta and available for Windows and macOS (Linux support is planned for the near future).

During this beta phase, MidiMacro is completely FREE to download and use.

Here's the important part: Anyone who downloads and activates MidiMacro during this free beta period via our Gumroad page will receive a license that remains FREE FOREVER, even after we introduce pricing later on. This is our way of saying thank you to early adopters who help us test and refine the software.

We Need Your Feedback!

We built MidiMacro to solve real-world problems we faced ourselves, but we know the KVR community has invaluable experience and insights. We'd love for you to try it out and let us know what you think.

Does it streamline your MIDI setup?

Are the macro features useful for your workflow?

What features would you love to see added?

Did you encounter any bugs?

Hey everyone,

Exciting news for MidiMacro users and anyone interested!

After what felt like an eternity battling Apple's notarization and support, I'm thrilled to announce the macOS version is now fully working and available! 🎉 Huge thanks to everyone who was patient while this got sorted out.

But that's not all! This update also introduces some significant new features:

Brand New Node Editor: We've implemented a completely new node-based system.

MIDI Curve Editor Node: As part of the new editor, there's a dedicated node for creating and editing MIDI CC/velocity/etc. curves, giving you much finer control over your data.

The latest version with all these improvements is live now on Gumroad for existing users.

We'd love to hear what you think of the new features and see what you create with them. Come hang out, ask questions, or share your feedback in our Discord channel:

Hope you enjoy the update!

Cheers,
MidiMacro
