This isn't just another plugin; it's a realtime virtual instrument or audio processing powerhouse. You can effortlessly import audio from virtual instruments, analog inputs, or audio files and watch as granular synthesis transforms them into something entirely new. It can apply textural effects to any audio or instrument track!

Whether you're crafting shimmering atmospheres, rhythmic patterns, or otherworldly effects, GrainScaper gives you precise control over pitch, timing, density, and more. It's ideal for electronic music, soundscapes, film scores, and experimental genres.

Check out some of the powerful features packed into GrainScaper:
  • 240 Granular Presets to get you started quickly.
  • 4 independent grain modules with dedicated cloud mixing.
  • Intuitive Drag & Drop modulators.
  • An expressive XY spatial controller.

I'm not that much into granular, but this thing looks really cool. Not sure it's it's the tool that has me GASing, or the really well made demo video.

Either way, great job on this one. Nice intro price as well. I may end up demoing this sucker if I can find some time tonight.

Frankly before had no deal with Sample Logic yet.
Is this trial\demo version available ? Can't find.

No trial/demo?

I'm a grain junky and this looks very cool. Kind of reminds me of a cross between FRMS by imaginando, Imagiro's autochroma and a touch of Output's portal.

The XY/path control and the ability to save frozen sources are the standout features for me. Also the UI looks fantastic.

Tempting. A demo would prpbably seal the deal.

Would it be an e-mail from Sample Logic?

I’m registered to their mailing list but got zero discount code. Which code did they send out?

looking for a demo version...can't find it on their page...

also...,
is this an instrument, a granular synth (like quanta)
or a granular effect (like arturia fragments) ?

I don`t care how cool it looks, or that Jordan Rudess is pitching it. For me, the lack of a demo (and a no-refund policy) hardly instills any confidence in this developer.

Looking at alternatives..

no demo no try
no joy nor buy

What's really weird here is that there is an option to evaluate the plugin for 7 days but there does not seem to be a way to access that without buying it.

I bought so that's how I know it exists. When I first launched the plugin it gave me an option to activate it or evaluate it for 7 days.

The download is done via the Pulse downloader so there is no direct access to the plugin itself.

I'm under the impression that this clearly implies it is both. :hyper:

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil
