TBProAudio has updated CS-5501 to V2.8, a channel strip plugin with EQ, gate/expander, deesser compressor, limiter and saturation, flexible module routing and oversampling.

New features and enhancements since V2.7
  • NEW: full dual mono processing
  • NEW: additional clip modes (Hard/Tanh/Sin/Quintic)
  • NEW: additional sat, clip and noise modules
  • NEW: additional comp DAW tempo synced release
  • NEW: all modules (including clip and noise) can be freely positioned in the routing chain
  • NEW: Analogue noise level -87/-115dB/16Bit/24Bit
  • NEW: copy/paste across all instances
  • NEW: copy/paste/load/save module settings including module preset menu
  • NEW: double-click on the resize icon to quickly change the size of the GUI.
  • NEW: extended EQ frequency range from 10 to 40k
  • NEW: independent reference level for left/right VU meter
  • NEW: new background: "gold", "blue" and "turquoise"
  • NEW: Peak level display

Great update. Although this plugin is already a real monster, it's still growing in a good way.

Ah damn, cannot fight myself against not buying it. Im not a channell strip person, but this one is my dream come true to be honest. Too bad its so expensive.

It's worth the money. You should demo it, however, as it can be too much.

There needs to be an upgrade path (and price) for CS-3301 holders in my humble opinion. That would be great.

Thank you, good to see the updates coming.

The channel strip has become a bit overwhelming. An easy mode or some 'easy' stock presets would be nice. I know, I can make them myself, but then only I have them.
