I have listened to a few people who bought one of these now. To me, it sounds like the Lyra 8 or that kind of thing.

im not sure? never had the lyra8 and only had this for one day, but i think the lyra has a wider sound pallete? ie more of a synth, with filters n such?
this seems to be a simple sound, just with interesting ways of playing.
a nice sound for sure, but more limited.

The pleasure is all mine. What I don’t understand is how there are tons of million + subscriber YouTube channels that have absolutely crap content, and something really cool, like yours, only has 205.

ah ok, it does have more than pitch and fx controls through? more sound design options? or am i completely misremembering??? (possible, obviously, with the medical marijuana)

i refuse to do the youtube faces in thumbnails, so they hide me away!!!

thanks

tbh, im more than happy with my numbers. i honestly expected about 10 of my online friends, who do similar stuff, no more.
aside from about 30 people from here, there's all those complete strangers, the other night i had 15 in chat, who had no clue what i was doing, but after a wtf is this comment, id reply, and they'd get interested and actually ask questions.
that's cool as far as im concerned, and even the abuse doesn't bother me, as in the end, i do this because i enjoy it, not because i expect anyone else too, that's just a really nice bonus :)

and of course, as we know from history, all great artists, are discovered posthumously :o :hihi:

uhm...no..
it's just 8 oscillators in parallel and/or fm'ing each other,
a double-LFO, a distortion and a delay

the special way of fm'ing makes it interesting
but else, no superspecial sounddesign capabilities
more of a performing instrument

ah thanks, i guess they are similar in that respect then, this is definitely a performance thing, no real timbre shifts. i knew that going in, so its definitely not a negative point for me, the idea just grabbed me :)

i have the lyra drive/delay module in my rack, a long time favourite, and soma do make some cool shit! have an ether and cosmos here too 8)
