The Pro-800 is a real bargain IMO. Have that in my rack with a Pro-1 and Kobol Expander.
I just wish the triple rack was easier to carry, lots of sharp edges!

Can't you get someone in Europe to send you them? They are £12 for both 70hp and 80hp at Andertons.kritikon wrote: Sun Apr 27, 2025 11:48 pm Don't often see both rack ear sizes here though - mostly only the 70hp ones.
How original

Put my order in from Ctrl-Mod.
I’m keeping the old-fashioned ground shipping in as using Uber the last time, for delivery was a sign of no self-control.

The Harvestman/IME garage sale seems to be gaining speed. I just placed my order with Scott for a Bionic Lester mk1.5 and a Zorlon Cannon Mk1. He says Tyme Sefari mk1/2 and Malgorithm mk1/2 units are going to be available as well.
He's getting parts ready for mk1 and mk2 versions of other Harvestman modules as well. I'm particularly interested in getting another Piston Honda mk1 but more and more I'm thinking about putting together an all orange system.

I convinced myself (barely) that I wouldn't do the Bionic Lester thing. I had Synchrodyne twice and resold it both times. I'm not sure how Lester compares but I don't have to indulge my curiosity.
I wish Jumbler had been announced sooner... I am contemplating whether to replace my relatively new Silhouette and Nearness with it, or just keep them. Kind of leaning toward keeping them at this point though.

I think I’ll almost certainly be getting a Jumbler. Really nice combination of sequential switch and scanning mixer. I always wanted an RxMx and this covers the features I wanted from that and more.
The Harvestman stuff is one of the things that drew me away from FracRack and towards eurorack, all those years ago. At the time I didn’t have the budget to get all of his modules but now I can expand without paying scalper prices. I used a Bionic Lester mk1 at AH, back when it was released and I really liked it, in the context of other Harvestman modules. Older Make Noise modules and older Harvestman modules feel like they are made for each other. Just a magical combination, IMO.

Yeah, I was very tempted to go for a Harvestman/Make Noise rig back in 2017, when I was thinking I'd have two smaller cases rather than one moderately big case. Even then it wasn't the easiest thing to get one's hands on some of the Harvestman modules at a sane price though. Bionic Lester and Double Andore in particular were almost unobtanium.justin3am wrote: Mon Apr 28, 2025 7:56 pm Older Make Noise modules and older Harvestman modules feel like they are made for each other. does that mean my old Mk1 TS and Malg are worth something these days? I think Harvestman was the 2nd or 3rd non-Doepfer module brand I ever bought.justin3am wrote: Mon Apr 28, 2025 5:37 pmHe says Tyme Sefari mk1/2 and Malgorithm mk1/2 units are going to be available as well.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I bought my TS mk1 the day after my Doepfer Basic system arrived. I had it in a 32hp beauty case, next to my A-100P6. I've been trying to find images of that setup but all the pictures I have were from after my late 2009 expansion.
Malgo mk1s don't tend to sell for much but I've seen a TS mk1 with SOT sell for more $800 USD. Insanity. You can buy a new TS mk1 from Scott right now, so I don't know what that will do to second hand sales... I'm not sure how widely the Garage Sale has been advertised.
