It's actually a good thing that it's not an exact JP8000 clone, i.e., not a 1:1 clone... otherwise, there wouldn't be multi-arp, the typical effects section, etc.
What I want is replication of JP factory patches.
Even performances could be replicated as two separate patches.

I don't care if Arturia copied the code or stole it from another company.
Synth sounds close enough to original and is fast to work with.

If Adam Szabo version uses even less CPU, sound quality will probably be like Viper, which is unacceptable to my ears. So what good is it, if it loads sysex?

I think Arturia's version can do many of the original presets, it's not 100% same sound but it's usable, good, with character. JP is capable of a wide range of sounds and Arturia factory bank doesn't show this.

I mean, check this "emulator". Wtf? This has to be a joke...

JP is for trance, but also pop, rock, experimental, whatever.

NO , this is NOT an emulator
It's instruments like these that wrongfully give reaktor a bad name
It's a synth that looks like a jp800 build with reaktor stock primary filter -osc modules ( thats +25 year old dsp code fyi ) , iow it's not a showcase of what reaktor is capable off .
The forthcoming reaktor based jp 8000 ( by Jasper Broeks ) will all be custom reaktor core code , it's whole different ballgame compared to some newbie stringing together primar modules and a lookalike gui .
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Not that this will convince conspiracy theorists. :)
Probably not. :hihi: . It's mostly talk at cross purposes anyway.

For sure these things share the same framework, and some components, but it's not Pigments as the base, just that both may use the same undelying things in places.

its all code as far as im concerned, the conspiracy goes deeper!! all plug ins are code!!! theyre all the same thing!!! as is flight control software, or mri scanner software!! its all just code!!!

That would indicate that it's not new and is an existing synth engine of some sort.
I'm not convinced that logic holds up.

Here's what I suspect happened:
  • Arturia wrote new code specifically for the JP-8000—covering its oscillators, filters, and other components
  • This code was built on top of existing, reusable frameworks they’ve developed for other instruments
  • An update to Analog Lab included this JP-8000-specific code, enabling it to play those presets - just as Analog Lab includes tailored code for each of their other synths

Who cares who wrote it, and how he/she wrote it.

I open up Virus C, TI2, even Multipoly - almost nothing happens. I have very nice letters but no words & sentences.

I open up 8000 V, Spire, Diva etc. and I have a story... That's all I care when I judge instruments. I honestly don't care about oscilloscope measurements and ASIO usage. This things runs great on a 13 year old CPU.

I've only said I would someone to reconstruct JP factory presets, I really like some of them and would like to hear how they work (or do they render at all?) on 8000 V :hihi:

I mean kvr MUST do something about quote and edit buttons.
Make quote button red, do something, I can't differentiate them

Use the preview button. That's what it's for.
I hate signatures too.
