I am trying to understand the Plugin Latency Compensation options in Logic. It has 3 options to choose from, one is the OFF option.

Let's assume I have a project with 2 audio tracks. The first one is a drum track, without any plugins on the track. The second one is a guitar track, with a plugin added AFTER recording, that introduces +10ms latency.
No plugins on the Stereo Out. I have Plugin Latency Compensation set to OFF. Record Enabled is OFF on both tracks. Software Monitoring is OFF. In case I press play to listen to the Project, do I understand correctly, that as Plugin Latency Compensation is OFF, I will hear the two tracks out of sync with 10ms?

I believe in Logic Pro you can activate a secondary ruler to show ms. idk either bounce the audio and check the ruler or bounce the audio and reverse the polarity and see if it nulls? I don't use logic anymore so I don't remember enough to directly help. Also a little recommendation just add like 10 compressors with 10ms of lookahead or something make it really obvious for the test imo.
