I'd not be selling it though. In fact Ive never actually sold on any modules, just add more cases
I guess I dont follow the Eurorack 'trends' well enough, I was surprised as hell to see the Mk1 Ginkosynthese SampleSlicer described as 'legendary' by CDM last year.
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

Yeah, I don't know who decides what is "legendary" and what is just hard to come by.
I'm one of those who sold their TS mk1 to fund a mk2. No regerts. The TS mk1's buffer was too small for a lot of the things I wanted to do. With that said, the effects of the switches on the SOT for the MK1 were a lot more interesting. The circuit bends on the mk2 aren't as dramatic.
I ran across this piece that features the TSmk1... which may have been the first thing I made after getting the original Hertz Donut: https://www.3amnoise.net/green_river_edit.mp3
The droney tonal stuff is HDmk1, AFG and A-188, the weird crunchy sounds were from running a Thingamgoop through the TSmk1.

So far this year I've added the RYK Vectorwave and expander to fill my eurorack enclosures; a Korg Nautilus 61AT; Behringer Pro 1, Pro 800 and VC 340; a PWM Malevolent; a DSI Mopho; and form Yamaha a TX7 and AN1x. Including a picture of the modular system.

I really like where they seem to be going. This and multimod are basically utility modules, but they seem to open the existing modules up in a fun way.Shabdahbriah wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 6:13 pmOh, cool for you.elxsound wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 5:11 pm Safe landing.

IMG_2025-04-29-130909.jpegThe Jumbler is quite appealing, in that (to me) "oh now that's really clever", kinda way.

Congrats! I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s video. For now, I want to recreate that piano patch when I get mine hooked up.
That sucks about those two. I created a spread sheet to keep track of my modules as I loosing too much time opening every box when I want to switch something up. It’s annoying but useful.

im still hoping (slowly fading) that ill find them in a box with pops or lego.
things got a bit frantic and messed up in the move, and trying to get a house full of synth and collectibles, into one bedroom, is proving difficult
i should buy them again quick, before tariffs kick in

Is the Trump tariff war causing increased prices for electronic gear, for people in the UK?vurt wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 11:52 pm im still hoping (slowly fading) that ill find them in a box with pops or lego.

I recently rushed to build a new computer for myself, because I figured tariffs would soon make computer component prices skyrocket here in the USA.
I'm involved with photography & audio. For more info, take a look at my site:

MiniBrute 2S arrived today
Only had a couple of hours fiddling with it, but great first impressions. Dunno why it took me so long to buy anything Arturia
.
Firstly, it's a superb little acid machine - the sequencer is incredibly easy to use. Normally I don't get along with onboard sequencers that well, but figured out how to program it within minutes with no manual. Just as well, as it doesn't come with a manual, must check online for one as it looks like it has a lot of depth. If 303 sequencers are the darkest night (which they definitely are and it's impossible to write how much I loathe them) then Arturia sequencers are brightest day.
Secondly, it's an aggro little f**ker, which is exactly what I hoped for. The filter isn't quite as gnarly as I'd imagined, but the metalizer and Brute factor amp-drive thingy certainly rev it up enough. The FM side of it surprised me most...my favorite part so far. Capable of real raucous and out-there madness, and can be melodic if tweaked well.
Thirdly, the patchbay all looks useful and well thought out. Better than some others I have.
Initially wanted the keyboard version, but now I've got my hands on it I'm more than happy with the 2S. 2 Oct keys are probably too small to be useful, but the sequencer is just so much better than I imagined. It'll probably steer me into making some acid tracks in the next few weeks, possibly even veering to industrial-ish style. Hope it doesn't turn me into Bones...
