After May, it *is* the pay-for version (it’s $99)…
So were many others that started as freebies (and occasionally made free again), followed by a bigger more expensive sibling. I’m not complaining, as I truly like their releases.
Those usually have "little" in the title, or Jr. or something like that. We'll see though.

I really like this thing. Super cool. Seems to have a playfulness about it that I don't see in most of my other 'verbs/delay plugins. Doesn't resize very clearly on my screen, though. I also wish there was a 'kill' function to cut the reverb tail when changing presets.

I love this.

It's like the perfect "tail" reverb.

No early reflections just a lovely decay.

Thanks for the heads up - I didn't realize it was free. :)

It doesn't use feedback. You can manipulate the shape of the entire tap network and make it gated or reverse or whatever. I watched the sound toys guy screwing around with it in a video. But the main thing was you're adjusting the envelope of just a ton of delay taps, graphically.

Edit: the point of all that being that you should be able to get any dynamic envelope without using any further dynamics processes
Yeah.

The X axis of the control dot controls the shape of the amplitude envelope. The further right the more you have a swell. At extreme right it sounds reversed. The Y axis controls how much the amplitude envelope effects the signal. At the top there is no amplitude shaping and at the bottom it's max.

The time is a constant.

sounds very impressive, especially as long reverse reverb or similar with IMO a ease of use and modification on the fly second to none

what a fantastic coffee grinder !!! :P :clown:

I guess it is only me?

GUI is terrible. Yes it can be resized... Still it is blurry all the way to me. at 200% as well. Preset browser hurts my eyes (honestly it does!). I am very disappointed this is what Soundtoys deliver in 2025 after years in pain with GUIs that are ultra small.

It's clear and sharp on my system

OK I get how to reverse it but how do you make it act like it's gated? There's no on/off or threshold etc

I forgot to mention, mac ventura here. 3340x1440....

Funny, no other plugins have this issue (apart from known plugins that needs GUI fix)

Wow! Very nice SoundToys, thank you! Only had a brief play of a few presets, but liking what I hear. It will be interesting to see if there's a 'pro' or 'big' version of this coming, or what might be next. Greatly appreciate the free version for now.

they seem to be using rasterised elements on the UI with some aggressive antialiasing (graphical) when you enlarge it. hence the blurriness.

Still though, it's free and the plugin isn't particularly dense in terms of controls so it's not the worst thing in the world.
