Regarding this:

e-musician wrote: Mon Apr 21, 2025 1:51 pm I believe there is something wrong with the Ilkka Rosma Dark skin.

In the coords.xml file it says:

<VALUE NAME="loudnessEnvelopShape" x="844" y="110" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>
<VALUE NAME="filterEnvelopShape" x="844" y="234" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>

Shouldn't the y-values be swapped?

loudnessEnvelopShape ==> y="234"

filterEnvelopShape ==> y="110"

In the Ilkka Rosma Blue skin, though, this is correct.
The bug has been fixed in version 3.8.

Could you please check again? Actually, I don't see any change here in 3.8.

Question : Why did disco-dsp delete their own forum on kvr ?
Could it be so they can create new threads to bring their updates on the radar ?

I guess most of the discussion happened in the instruments forum anyway…

OB-Xd again. Why are they allowed to do that ?

The issue has been verified and resolved. Please check that the installer date is April 30.

Yes, our forum at KVR was closed in January 2024. This decision was based on several factors, including the transition of discussions to the instruments forum, challenges with customer verification, low participation, requests for unsupported free assistance, and increased difficulty in managing and tracking activity.

While some companies maintain separate forums while also posting extensively in the instruments section, we've chosen to consolidate our presence to make better use of available resources and provide clearer communication channels for our users.

If you have genuine feedback, we welcome it here. For technical support or account-related issues, please use our dedicated support system at https://www.discodsp.com/support/ to ensure your request is handled promptly and securely.

So, I've checked again. I can confirm that the issue has NOT been resolved - at least not in the Windows installer.

It's still

<VALUE NAME="loudnessEnvelopShape" x="844" y="110" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>
<VALUE NAME="filterEnvelopShape" x="844" y="234" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>

The installer dates from April 30.

I mean, it's not a big issue for me. I can easily fix that myself (and I have). I just wanted to report this to you.

Thanks again for the 3.8 update. :tu:

Thank you for your diligence in reporting this issue. You're absolutely right, and I sincerely apologize for the oversight regarding the XML theme data not being properly updated in the previous release.

I'm pleased to confirm that we've just released a new build today, May 4th, which contains the correct XML theme data:

Code: Select all

    <VALUE NAME="filterEnvelopShape" x="844" y="110" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>
    <VALUE NAME="loudnessEnvelopShape" x="844" y="234" w="52" h="21" tooltip="1"/>
After installation, you should see these changes reflected immediately in the interface. We've also implemented additional verification steps in our release process to prevent similar oversights in the future.

Thank you again for your patience, understanding, and valuable contribution to improving our product. Community feedback like yours is invaluable to us.

Hi. When importing a drum beat, can you get HighLife to play just the slice/sample within the cue point, and not continue the rest of the beat to the end?
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

Unfortunately, HighLife doesn't natively support playing only within cue points for sliced playback. When you load a sample, it plays from the cue start point to the end of the file (or until note-off).
