No, what I meant was: a lot of prices are the same number whether dollars or euros, so where that's not what's explicitly listed, we don't know what the price is in the denomination not listed. Although for 24 euros, it's not all that big a deal of course, even if it's a little higher number when paying in dollars.pekbro wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 9:26 pm Typically, I pay in euros since PayPal’s conversion is not favorable usually.

Funny thing just happened. While I was contemplating gambling that Magma would do what I was hoping it would (but couldn't tell from the 70-second demo audio clip, and being unable to download a demo to check it out), I got an email from SoundToys about a free effect, SpaceBender. Turns out SpaceBender does just what I needed. There's probably a lesson there for developers who think demo versions are too much hassle.
By the way, the free download of SpaceBender goes thru 5/22, I believe. It's a brilliant plugin that does granular delay processing that's marvelous. I tried getting Atruia's EFX Fragments and MeldaProduction's MGranulatorMB to do what it does but failed (likely due to my lack of skill in sound design using granular delay). SpaceBender is dead easy to use and has plenty of presets offering solid starting points. Highly recommended - the best freebie I've encountered in ages.

The lack of a demo or refunds is unfortunate, sometimes that's how it goes when you want to get cool stuff. I've never once asked for a refund from a developer though, since I am pretty confident in knowing what I will like and not like.
If it's a matter of the plugin not working, I imagine they would be reasonable about it...
Anyway, do your research and take a chance or not. That's what I say, when nobody asked me for my opinion there. heh
*I doubt they have any means to revoke the license once downloaded, that's prob why there's no demo.

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

All their stuff that I own seems highly cpu efficient to me, including Fauve.
*Magma for instance, can make your drums sound very much like what you might expect it to sound while riding inside a Saturn V rocket when it's taking off. The only thing you really need to consider is whether or not you can actually use sounds like that in your projects.
