FWIW, I noticed that Drumvolution got an update, so at least we know they're working on some drum stuff.

The EQ is almost completely useless in my opinion. Just give me a traditional EQ with minimum 4 bands and I'd be fine. Whatever is there now is just silly.

Can anyone tell me what these cut off messages say? I don't know why they're disabled, I tried looking in the manual and didn't see it.

That's great! But how can you tell that Bassynth and Revolution were updated (and when they were updated)? Not that I'm doubting, but I can't see this in my account. Can you tell us where to find this info? It's a just bit of a slog to DL this for those of us with slower connections. Thanks!luvst wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 7:54 pmAlso Revolution and Bassynth have been updated.telecharge wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 7:32 am FWIW, I noticed that Drumvolution got an update, so at least we know they're working on some drum stuff.

Not as far as I know. I'll have to double check my authorization.MoodyB wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 10:10 pmAre you running the demo?cake builder wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 9:50 pm Can anyone tell me what these cut off messages say? EDIT: It says it's registered. I figured it out. Those options are disabled when multi-out is enabled.

Yes, I do. Is that where it showed up for you? That could explain it; it's possible that I updated via NA and just didn't really notice, or, perhaps I bought Revolution after the update (a while ago, but still....)telecharge wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 11:02 pmDo you use Native Access?dlandis wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 9:56 pm

At any rate, thanks for the reminder. I was checking in my account at Wave Alchemy and didn't see any reference there to a date for an update on them. The free-standing Triaz, however, was updated from 1.1.0 to 1.1.1., so I DL'ed that.

Yes, it is. I don't have them, but Bassynth and Revolution are Kontakt Player instruments, too.dlandis wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 11:32 pmYes, I do. Is that where it showed up for you? WA have definitely done a good thing with Triaz, and the content available for Triaz is good, but a year ago they claimed they were going to update it to allow mapping of your own sample folders as opposed to forcing you to copy or move your sample library inside the Triaz directory just to use your own content.
The last time I reached out to their support about this they claimed it was "coming soon", but they have never added this and as a result I dont use Triaz as much as I could/would. No, Im not going to make symlinks to work around the issue. (every time I bring this up, some brand defender parrots this 'workaround' as if it's a solution to the issue).
I like many aspects of Triaz, but I dont appreciate the brand's failure to implement this basic feature. Other minor issues (EQ quality, etc) are not really that important to me, but the folder mapping is a big one. No communication about this meanwhile adding new paid content isnt the best look...

i mean it literally IS a solution.Milkman wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 2:36 am No, Im not going to make symlinks to work around the issue. (every time I bring this up, some brand defender parrots this 'workaround' as if it's a solution to the issue).
I use a symlink for my samples in Triaz and it works perfectly.
something is a solution if it actually works!
I have a shortcut that makes a symlink just by right clicking on a file/folder and selecting make symlink.
is it as elegant as having an inbuilt solution? No but it's pretty low effort and most importantly it works.

Is a symlink a Mac thing? If it is, is there a Windows 11 counterpart?kraster wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 3:16 ami mean it literally IS a solution.Milkman wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 2:36 am No, Im not going to make symlinks to work around the issue. Symlinks are literally not a solution. Manual workarounds are not workarounds for failed commitments. Manual workarounds like this, for windows platforms, are problematic. If arguing this on behalf of the brand is a hill you want to die on, be my guest.
If symlinks are the solution for failed commitments, then not spending another cent on wave alchemy products is also a solution. Drum machines and expansions is a competitive market, and I have a few others in my library that have no problem with folder mappings.
It does not escape me that not supporting 3rd party folder mapping also helps sell expansion packages.
