Sampleson Brushify: can I activate the license on my offline DAW?

Hi,
I want to buy a license for Sampleson Brushify, but can't figure out if I can activate the license on my offline DAW.
I wrote to support yesterday, and am waiting for a reply.

I thought I might as well ask here.

Vendors such as Plugin Boutiique and ADSR specify "No online activation required."

I wonder if this means I can use an online laptop to transfer activation to my offline DAW, or if that means I can only activate by putting the DAW online.

Have you had any experience with Sampleson Brushify activation?

I'd trust the Sampleson website. If it says online activation required, then you will need to be online to activate the plug-in. They used to be DRM-free in the past, which is why some places might still claim that there's no activation required.

Some time ago I got Wursy from a free promo and it needed to be activated online, unlike older products I owned.

I will defer to the Samplson website and hold off on my purchase as they still have not responded to my email.

I was hoping that online activation meant that you need online access, but not necessarily with the DAW you intend to use the software on.

I just tried with my copy from years ago: activation is prompted from first launching the plugin; you need to be online for it to activate.

It took 5 days, and I finally got a reply from Sampleson, which confirms what you two explained.

I will not be able to install Brushify on my offline DAW.

So, no brushify for me. Oh well.
