New Soundtoys plugin - Space Blender

I tried this yesterday (you don’t need to use ilok if you don’t want to - as Protocol_B says, you have an option to license to your computer instead).

I like the interface and it sounds good. I tested it against black hole immersive, supermassive, tai chi and Fors Sala.

Spaceblender sounds good, but not quite as 3d or high quality as black hole immersive to my ears. That said, it’s free, and still sounds great. I also love the way they show the envelope on the UI - really cool and intuitive.

I think you could easily get by with this as one of your only reverbs, if you pair it with a more traditional reverb like VintageVerb or even stock Ableton verb.

I have licensed it to my computer (I already regretted it because by doing so I can't move the license), I now have an error "License does not match AuthManifest", and the plugin doesn't work.
I cannot "take ownership" from within the Ilok manager, so I cannot deactivate and move it to the ilok account...I wrote to Soundtoys support, no answer so far...

Tried it and it sounds good but I prefer Supermassive for making those huge ambient soundscapes. It's a bit more versatile with the different algorithms and uses far less CPU. The envelope feature on Space Blender is nice though.

I downloaded it because the page said it uses an activation code. When I later discovered the activation code was for iLok manager, I dumped the download in the trash, and I have an iLok, which coincidentally has a Soundtoys Echoboy license on it. Still, I am not adding any iLok crap anymore.

I have had enough, I'm going cage-free.

I wish Soundtoys had explicitly said iLok activation on the Space Blender download page. It would have saved me the trouble of finding out the slow way.

It downloads ilok, but you do not need to activate it on ilok. I immediately uninstalled ilok and was able to enter the code when loading the plugin.

Space Blender is a great new take on the concept of reverb. It "smears and sustains" sound instead of just diffusing it. In my opinion it's one of the best of the Soundtoys 5 bundles. Really good job, Sound Toys!

"It" download Ilok and install it but users immediately uninstall it because Ilok is not needed and then it is not there anymore but still visible? Soundtoys doesn't use Ilok anymore? And yet nobody is able to answer a simple question? Ridiculous, keep it, I'll pass.
