For some reason, I can't seem to use this with Bitwig. I've entered an activation code after asking Bitwig to reindex all locations after installation but still not able to load the plugin. I can also see it activated in my ilok. Not really sure why this is happening. I'm thinking a clean install may be the way but curious if anyone else has had problems with it...

It's fine in Bitwig 5.3.8 here. No issues at all.swilow11 wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 11:36 pm For some reason, I can't seem to use this with Bitwig. Feature walk-through:
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Had an opportunity to use it more. The plugin is great. The only issue is - it cranks my CPU to 100% even it's not used (no playback in the DAW at all). I see one comment stating it's less CPU heavy than Blackhole. I can't compare since I don't have Blackhole so it may be an issue with my machine specifically. FYI I use MBA with M2 CPU, macos Sequoia. Same issue in Logic Pro and Reaper (tried AU and VST3).

Got it to work finally and it sounds absolutely gorgeous. Very easy to use- makes sense after just checking a few presets- and so clean. The visual approach is probably key here.
I have both Blackhole and Blackhole Immersive and to my ears it's nicer than both. Didn't notice any CPU issues tbh.

I just checked – MBA M2, latest Logic Pro. I get about 10% CPU on core 4 (25% when I use Massive X simultaneously). The difference might be that I'm still on Sonoma 14.6.1?kimearo wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 7:55 am … The plugin is great. If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Love this. And free! With a resizable GUI!
Not holding my breath but I have faith that the rest of their plugins will be updated and resizable soon.
Soundtoys are dead. Long live Soundtoys!

I love the visualizer. I wish more reverb plugins have this kind of visualization. And the demos sound fantastic.
That said, I don't currently own anything Soundtoys and between the auto iLok install and the CPU complaints, so I think I'll pass.
I wish one of my preferred vendors would release a verb like this. Closest thing I have is Minimal Audio Swarm Reverb, which has a similar visualization scheme, but a much different reverb tonality.

I compared it to Immersive and Immersive sounds more refined and detailed, Blackhole Immersive is more flexible, it can also do some good reverb sounds, but also act as a texture generator.swilow11 wrote: Sun May 04, 2025 9:20 am

Space Blender has a very cool GUI and sounds great, especially for long texture sounds. (I also compared it to the free EpicClouds from Variety of Sounds and this one is surprisingly not really worse than Soundtoys...)

First of all, I give a major thank you to Soundtoys for offering such a creative effect for free during the introductory period. Their software is vital to my workflow. So much so, that I'm actually willing to use an iLok to run their bundle on my computer. I've been hoping that we would see something new and interesting from them, and here it is. I love the way it sounds, and the first thing I did was to create some one-shots with some incredible reverb tails from SpaceBlender. That was fun!
Then I quickly moved onto atmospheric effects, because this is great for evolving textures, and gives a very dramatic, cinema feel to a soft piano recording. It's simply gorgeous! The next thing that I'm looking forward to trying, is processing some vocals, and making those recordings into pads and soundscapes. Soundtoys has all of the bread & butter effects already taken care of, and I hope that they continue to go in a more experimental direction, while maintaining the ease-of-use that their plug-ins are know for. I give SpaceBlender two thumbs up!!

Not really my style of reverb but I guess I'll keep it installed and play with it.
