I just tried the CPR 100! Must say I am impressed. It's very clean, transparent, and introduces almost no artifacts! Amazing plugin! Sounds great! Thank you for shaing this with us!

thank you very much indeed. we will publish more plugins in the future, some of it will be free too. if you are a guitar player and looking for vintage sounds of the amps from the 60s you might like our guitar amp.

I cannot test it since I am on Mac but I have a minor comment….Is your compressor named CPR100 or CPT100 (see left corner of the plug-in)? Or it may be my eyes?

they are two different compressors but both of the 100 series.

the CPT 100 is a more modern type of compressor like the fet-hardware equivalents.

the CPR 100 is a vintage type with a completely different algorithm which is like the tube types from the 50s.
in my collection i have a british model which was build in 1955 for the bbc. i copied the design because i love those green metal front and the chickenheads

the CPR 100 will be published later this year and is not free.

no vst3 so far. maybe in the future. which daw doesn't support vst2 ?

The free cakewalk.
Good idea to release clean comp for free and to offer a paid with character,just announce it - i personally would buy paid ,if like the clean one and the price is reasonable , but there is one problem - the moment i drag cpt100 on any cakewalk channel,it crashes,no warning,no nothing,just end entire cakewalk process... this is not a good advertisement for the moment

we test every plugin detailed. so far I can say that they work without any problems in:

Cubase
Studio One
FL Studio
Protools
Luna
Sonar (older Version)

I get a copy of Cakewalk this morning and get the message "plugin not properly installed" what makes me wonder because the CPR Compressors don't need any installation.

We contact Cakewalk and I hope we receive an answer asap. We will fix it and you might enjoy the plugin even with Cakewalk
