Teeny tiny?

If you go back to the prior UI it's really, really pale. This is just very pale. But legibility is a little better.

Post

So yeah, the UI is now a tad bit teeny tiny less pale.

I wish the v1.5 contrast was more pronounced like it appears in the preview image, which GForce emailed to customers regarding the update, rather than how it actually is...

Or even, as I had previously proposed back in October 2023.

What's like a word to use here that means less than slightly? :-|

Check to make sure you downloaded the new version. The link on the downloads page SAID it was 1.5 but the installer was linked to the old one. I had to go to the demo download to get the new version and then check the file name to make sure.

I did. It's definitely the v1.5 update.

But one additional thing since my previous post that I discovered, which is nuts. Is that the panels seem to appear darker only when the GUI is "Extended."

When you "Collapse" the top effects section, the other panels appear brighter again with less contrast between them and the text. Almost as it was in the previous version.

It's almost like GForce forgot to properly correct that "Collapsed" view mode and so only kinda-fixed the contrast within the "Extended" view?

Can you post screen shots of both the collapsed and extended views on mac ... for comparison with the above Windows 11 images?

Thanks. Must be just a Windows issue then perhaps?

Can any other Windows users check to see if their collapsed view looks like either of the above images?

yup, same for me here on Windows.

Post

Can confirm I am not having this issue on the Mac version. The brighter collapsed UI must be a Windows only problem.

Post

Same here on Windows.

Thank you all for spotting this error, it's really appreciated that someone brought this thread to my attention. We have now updated the v1.5 Windows installer on our website to include the correct background images for the collapsed and advanced panel views.
