Teeny tiny?
If you go back to the prior UI it's really, really pale. This is just very pale. But legibility is a little better.

I wish the v1.5 contrast was more pronounced like it appears in the preview image, which GForce emailed to customers regarding the update, rather than how it actually is...
v1.5 as it appears within GForce's email preview image...
v1.5 as it appears in the flesh...
Or even, as I had previously proposed back in October 2023.
My previous mock-up example...

Check to make sure you downloaded the new version. The link on the downloads page SAID it was 1.5 but the installer was linked to the old one. I had to go to the demo download to get the new version and then check the file name to make sure.MrJubbly wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 7:29 pm I wish the v1.5 contrast was more pronounced like it appears in the preview image, which GForce emailed to customers regarding the update, rather than how it actually is...

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I did. It's definitely the v1.5 update.releasefromwithin wrote: Wed May 07, 2025 7:50 pmCheck to make sure you downloaded the new version. But one additional thing since my previous post that I discovered, which is nuts. Is that the panels seem to appear darker only when the GUI is "Extended."
When you "Collapse" the top effects section, the other panels appear brighter again with less contrast between them and the text. Almost as it was in the previous version.
It's almost like GForce forgot to properly correct that "Collapsed" view mode and so only kinda-fixed the contrast within the "Extended" view?

Can confirm I am not having this issue on the Mac version. The brighter collapsed UI must be a Windows only problem.

Thank you all for spotting this error, it's really appreciated that someone brought this thread to my attention. We have now updated the v1.5 Windows installer on our website to include the correct background images for the collapsed and advanced panel views.
