Anything free that's similar to the "emphasis" plugin?

Was using this on my older PC. Really liked the effect it had on certain acoustic tracks. Just updated my PC, which also updated the OS to Windows 11. Still using the same DAW (Waveform 12), but it doesn't seem to install now.

Anything else out there that offers a similar effect to emphasis (https://www.kvraudio.com/product/emphas ... lity-audio)?

It installed here on Win 11, works using Reaper.

It says refining certain frequency bands, which I'm not sure what it means.. Maybe some kind of exciter, harmonics enhancer.
The free stuff that might be in that ballpark, there is the Slate FreshEQ which is nice for brigthening stuff up.
If you can snatch the Apogee Soft Limit somewhere, also free and delicious on everything..

Okay, so it must be something on Windows, 'cause Reaper also isn't installing the plugin.
