Usually they don't tease anything - even if they do a release next week. So I expect to see a 7.1.1 when visiting their booth.

+1 to this.

Presonus has never (and would never) use a trade show as demo zone for a new release. Whatever is cooking in the Presonus labs - will simply show up - unannounced - on some week day as it always does.

And not only that - it is rare for Presonus to even show up at these things and when they do - it is usually with a hardware focus.

They said there would be a "road map" for the future releases, but haven't seen that either.

I do miss when they would tease a release on socials and then do a giant livestream to reveal the update... good times.

Yes, I was wondering the same when they made the big announce videos how the pricing will be different since they will promise to make MAJOR updates. It sounded really promising and tempting.
There is still time if they are fast

And if they do deliver those MAJOR updates, I want to see if they can do the same again or will that promise go away - and what the pricing will be and so on... No hurry at all to give money at this moment.

That‘s true. otoh: 7.1.1 is remarkably stable (at least for me), and there’s nothing which prevents me from making music.

Seems like the Splice integration is the most hot stuff at the moment.
Maybe it is very useful for some people, I just don't find it so interesting to upgrade from v6 to 7.

Stem Separation is another one. I wonder if Presonus will do a SALE this holiday weekend coming up ? I'm on 6 artist still .

Yes and the video was from only couple of days ago

It is like they don’t have anything new to show just the Splice thing atm

Openly speaking: I almost never bought the past upgrades because of the “major features”, but because of the sum of the small “quality of life” improvements. ymmv
