s(M)exoscope install problems

Hi,

I am still having trouble installing s(M)exoscope. I download the VST file which I then move to the VST folder on my computer (my DAW scans this for new plugins) but the plugin still doesn't show up in my DAW.

I've also tried using the AU version as well (I'm on mac) with no luck. One thing I have noticed that could maybe a problem is that the s(M)exoscope file for the VST version does not have .vst extension.
