Price confusion with TAL smaplers...

I don't think TAL pays much attention to the KvR listings. There are a few TAL plugins that don't even show up there. It could just be that the prices are out of date. Either way, why not buy direct?
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Greetings... I shop around for the best pricing. At lot of times a product will have various price listings depending on the source. Keep in mind that most products bought in the marketplace have to be registered at the developers website. KVR is mostly selling licenses and don't host the actual downloads like pluginboutique. The prices for the Tal products aren't outdated, they're outright incorrect or inflated and I've never seen them priced that amount on TAL's site.pough wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 4:45 pm I don't think TAL pays much attention to the KvR listings. It's not acceptable from my opinion to have such a discrepancy in pricing. I was simply bringing attention to it, so maybe it can be addressed. I wouldn't want my customers getting hosed!

You are incorrect, sorry. Check TAL prices on Sweetwater, for example.pc2000 wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 11:13 pmGreetings... I shop around for the best pricing. I always check prices on the developer site. If they are not significantly more expensive I would buy there anyway. The money is going to help better to make the product better. If you buy from a reseller, only their marketing is supported better…
In a way higher prices with the resellers is more than acceptable… I wish it would always be the case… The Devs need more support than resellers…

You replied to a post from May 2025. Whatever the prices are now, they provide no basis for asserting that the poster was incorrect when they posted 8 or 9 months ago.TechHaus wrote: Sun Jan 11, 2026 6:42 am You are incorrect, sorry. Check TAL prices on Sweetwater, for example.
