There is Serum 2 and there is Serum 2 FX. There is Nexus 5 and there is no Nexus 5 FX, unfortunately.

I have a (not easy reproducable bug)

I have added two layers with 2 Wavetables, one for the left and one for the right side.
When i add another layer, Layer 1 with wavetable stops to play.
When i change the settings of the matrix wavetable ENV -> position Nexus crash the daw.

When you export the expansion it will ask you for a name, then it will over write the preset author for everything you export.

Ah ok. Thanks for that information. And how are the files saved? As wav or as your expansions as .nxs?

Does anyone know how you import IR samples?
I like the new EQ but jeez, does everyone at REFX have 20/20 vision or summat?
Trying to read the font on the increasingly fragmented and scroll/tab-heavy GUI is not in any way an enjoyable experience.

If I understand correct, I can import my own wavetables into Nexus now?
But is there also a wavetable editor inside Nexus that I can use if needed (similar to Vital or Serum)?

How is the CPU load with the new Nexus with all the new open features to use?

I don't have Nexus and there is no demo so I can't try those things myself.
Just demoed the new Serum2 and it is in many cases just too much for my computer (even a one single factory preset can be too much).

Am I the only one having a big problem using the browser ? Even if you change the skin, the browser still is black, and (granted I have an eyes problem) I find it painful to use.

If you could simply change the skin, I would find nothing to complain about, but unless I’m mistaking, the skin doesn’t affect that browser part...

Other than library text and general UI scale options, I suspect this would be tricky due to text having to fit within graphical boundaries. Perhaps there's opportunity to optimise the sizing of certain elements and/or to enable resizing/zoom/scrolling of sections.

the overall GUI is sadly a downgrade in my opinion, somehow everything is small and kinda fiddly?
i dont have a 30 inch display but a 24 inch one but still i was more enjoying the old GUI.

Right on the top line of Nexus when you are looking at a patch, there is a button on the right called
"N2retro" That will change the skin to an older version that is much easier to read. You can access all the banks and browse the sounds from there.
