I had a shock getting an update of Addictive Drums 2 plugin and the new gui.
- but XLN allow to roll back and limit version so I got original back
Scalable looks like this with Sonar in background

My eyes hurt since they try to focus something that never become clear.
- it's simply blurry to my eyes at least
- 100% size, no scaling
While Sonar is crystal clear and no problem there.
- non-scalable interface
Is this what scalable gui:s in new hidpi look like?
Or was it a simple method the way it was made?
- I imagine there are levels how many vectors you provide or something
I get that a 3D look pretty interface is not possible to make fully scalable without artifacts, a lot of shading technologies or whatever they are called is needed so surrounding pixels are colored to give impression it is not a jagged contour.
- this takes more cpu
What are your views on this?
Thanks.
Regards
Vectorized gui:s that are fully scalable - do you find them sharp or a bit blurry?

It's a drawback - depending on the quality of the vector drawing, it may not look as crisp as something that has been rendered to pixels by a professional design tool.
But nowadays almost everyone has High-DPI screens, so this is the way to go. Really enjoy my 32" 4k screen - and almost all plugins that I use play well with it.

Even the weakest dud of computer today can handle 4K desktop at 60Hz. So it "taking more CPU" isn't actually really an argument anymore
