Woohoo! This finally opens to a reasonable size on 1080!
Windows 10, Studio One Pro 5. Thought I would share a few things I noticed:
1:After opening, I went to make the gui a little larger and I could not click the percentages in the range of 90-120, so I clicked on 130%. That worked. Then when I came back later to the gui size, I could click on any of them.
2: In the preset browser, clicking on ER Pan caused an issue with Studio One Pro 5. It didn't crash the DAW, but I got a message that there was an "unexpected error" in this app or a plugin.

How do I make it smaller? - it goes off the edge of the screen for me (and this on a 5K display). I can't drag the corner as that is off screen

to change the ui window scale do the following:
1) locate the following folder:
Windows)
C:\programData\Devproaudio\product\REVERSIDE\state
Macos)
/Users/mdx/Music/Devproaudio/product/REVERSIDE/state
2) open pref.yaml in any text editor
3) change pref_ui_wnd_scale value to something smaller. save changes
4) just in case check that this file (and /state folder in general) has read/write permissions enabled for your account
btw there is a new build available:
CHANGES IN 0.9.3.b293:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
- Fixed: absolute size mode was not working properly
- Fixed: sometimes AUv2 would not pass validation
- CLAP: fixed halting problem on changing mix/balance/gain parameters
- VU meters are now displayed on STEREO page
- a few more demo presets added

would anyone share the experience of using the latest build. I'm particularly interested in knowing if positioning system is useful, I mean say placing sound in a corner of a room does sound convencing etc and if anyone could get how panning system works (having minimum manual at hands)

Hi Denis,
I've been sending emails, but I would say that the sound positioning is probably as good as it gets with proper 3D room emulation. I've been playing with some room emulators - and they are definitely better at doing convincing room positioning.
Is that a direction that you want to go in?

REVERSIDE new build is available.
CHANGES IN 0.9.3.b300:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
- Fixed: Wet/Dry Mix settings are not loaded properly from project state
- Fixed: Incorrect Wet/Dry Gains values displayed after loading preset
- Fixed: Sometimes after switching presets the plug-in controls become
irresponsive until one switches to another view page
- Fixed: ER/LR routing issue reported by Michael Seipel
- ER/LR gain pair is now augmented with respective ER/LR Balance/Gain
- ER/LR/WET/DRY gain ranges increased
- various other minor improvements and fixes
Now one can control mixing gains in two ways both for a Wet/Dry and ER/LR pairs:
A) as absolute gains in dB
B) as a mix/balance in percents and residual gain
the conversion between A and B representations is automatic and all 4 values are visible at once.

new REVERSIDE build.
CHANGES IN 0.9.3.b316:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
- Entering param values and file/folder names from keyboard
(except for CLAP/Windows and AudioUnit at the moment)
- Preset Browser now supports creating/removing files and folders
- Preset Browser now offers confirm/cancel buttons for actions that can't be undone
- Windows: added dithering to the input to avoid excessive cpu usage on idle inputs
- Writing debug logs
- DEMO mode is now available for those who want to try the plug-in without going into betateting
in demo mode one cannot save presets and plug-in state in project is not preserved.
- Various other minor improvements and fixes
Anyone interested in betatesting could email me at: info@devproaudio.com
I would appreciate if you guys, those who already tested the plug-in,
share your opinion and improvement suggestions/ideas here.
I need your feedback in order to improve UX as plug-in param set is on a scale of a good synth.

Well, so far I was not able to even open the plugin here on my laptop, so I can't give any feedback sadly.
But looking forward to a stable PC version!

Hi Denis,
Usually I ask all my questions via email - but I can do it here.
The sound is very good, as usual, but there really is a lot there to remember what everything does.
Typing in values works OK.
Entering filenames in the preset browser is not working here (Windows 11 - running the plugin in Reaper)
The preset management doesn't seem to be too intuitive. I can use the tooltips to remember whether to use save or resave - but I did save a preset with a new name once but now when I try to save another variation - I get the cursor in the file name area, but I can't do anything. I can't use backspace or del or type anything. I'm not sure why it worked once.
OK - I deleted that preset - now when I want to "save" a variation, and click on the filename box - it brings up the name of that deleted preset, but I can't type anything or change anything.
I haven't played a lot with colors, as that is a little tricky to figure out - and I don't want to have to redo it for every new version
Will you have a lot of color scheme presets?
Lastly, the whole distance/pan/mic sep section doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot - in the "room" settings I'm playing with. I seem to remember this section affecting the sound a lot more - when I was asking you about 3D placement etc.
Anyway - these are just my observations - maybe someone else can chime in

Okay, here's some of my suggestions for now - I will break them up into different posts.
Generally speaking, I think the UI has to be cleaned up as much as possible. This is very important since the Reverside has so many features and function.
Also I would establish the general rule that no parameter/control should appear in two (or more) different places in the GUI.
