Hello all! I've a little problem: i have a simple VST host that let me change instruments while playing, but i need to start a long sample (actually bass and drum on a wav file) when i play a certain key on my keyboard.. I've tried Kontakt, but every time i press that key, it plays a new instance of the wave file... is there any other way?
Thaaanks!!

And the problem is the sound stops after you release the key? I hope I understood it correctly. I think any sampler will start playing the sample from the start when you press its designated key.
Either use a sustain pedal or change the sample patch release time (in the ADSR) so it has infinite release and plays the whole sample. Or you want it to loop endlessly and only unmute when you press the key? Hmmm....

Actually the problem is that the sampler (NI Kontakt) start this sample every time i press that key! And, as soon as i press the "program change" pedal, NI Kontakt stop the sample! I need that the saple is played from the start once...C00kie wrote:And the problem is the sound stops after you release the key? I hope I understood it correctly.
