I own Amiga and Rando. We are truly blessed with great affordable, fun/esoteric samplers in the plugin world. Love it!

Version 1. Version 2 is not available yet. It’s coming out soon I believe

More like version 2, there are functionings in Landr Sampler that aren’t yet in version 1 of Rando!

Hi, there's a truckload of new content that will be added today, and many more updates are planned for the months to come! Please note that you receive lifetime free updates. These updates occur approximately every two months since Rando was introduced, and we work diligently to incorporate new fixes and features into them.

As I write this, I am finalizing the email for Rando 2, which will drop later today.

It's usual for companies to offer a sale when a new version drops, not a 30% price increase (100% more since launch). I was looking to buy, but it's no longer an impulse punt.

I think it's fair to expect a price to reflect the value of the work put into it. If v2 brings major new features and improvements, a price increase is completely justified. Expecting lifetime updates without any price adjustment might not be always sustainable for a solo dev. Supporting great tools means recognizing their worth. Not just grabbing them when they're cheap.

V1 is $69 at the moment right here on KVR Marketplace, with a further 10% off if you have any KVR points to use. That includes the free update to v2 later today. The link is at the top of this page.
