There’s some really intriguing programming in the patches, and it reminds me of why I’ve loved NI’s Absynth since it’s release. It’s still a fantastic sound design tool, and it’s a shame that there will never be a version 2.0. But I’ll continue to use it from time to time, as long as it can run on my Mac. You know, doing NKS is such a pain in the butt with the tagging and assigning controls, but the generating previews part of the process is the simplest part and mostly automated and takes a few minutes (especially for a synth product which doesn't require complex MIDI to make sense e.g. drums). I don't get why even devs that do include NKS don't always do it.

Yeah, although for Absynth it's much easier because Komplete Kontrol just works natively with Absynth patches - not extra tagging etc needed.

Extra tagging indeed not with Absynth, but mapping the macros to NKS yes, its still a lot of manual work.
