It's strange to see this on Plugin Boutique. Plugin Alliance show it for $69.99

Does anyone know how to turn off the Tone section (Filter and Distort) altogether? The problem is that the Distort knob affects the signal even at 0%. Try to choose different Distortion modes at 0% and the sound is changing with every algorithm. That is not right, when I need an unaffected signal from the synth engine.

Could be great if they added a compressor too (they have a Zip Compressor plugin in their portfolio).
Also, would be very useful, if an LFO module could be switched to the envelope. Sometimes there is a need to have a third Envelope assigned to the Distortion amount.

The CPU load is like 7-28% in FL-Studio with the default preset (Init) when playing. Quite a lot.

It's actually doing a lot of stuff, mostly in the area of drawing out it's UI, but a lot of other stuff
due to it's complex sequencer and Mutiple synthesis types as well as everything else.

For me, Battalion runs at about 20-25% of the cpu in FLS (latest) on this modest Core i5.
In the latest Reaper it's about 5%, 20% in S1 ver 6, 30% in Live. So 20% avg for me.

Personally, I would rate Battalion at moderate to heavy in the cpu dept. Very usable still.

Hey, just wanted to chime in about the CPU usage. We did a really big overhaul to optimize it after launch in the first update. That's released now but if you haven't updated and you're getting hit by CPU usage, especially during silent patches, grab the latest. PA doesn't always make it super obvious that an update has been released. It's significant- something like a 7x CPU reduction when silent, and 60% reduction when playing.

Yes MIDI out and patterns are actively being worked on. No ETA or guarantee because I don't want to make users angry if it's delayed. We both want it and have wanted it since launch. We'd like Battalion to be much more of a living synth with updates until we're both fully happy. Smarter randomization as well. Always listening for user feedback so thanks all who have chimed in here and there. Thanks for both the support and criticism.
