Fabrik is now live.
We’ve just opened pre-orders for Fabrik, a node-based synthesizer plugin designed to give you complete control over signal flow and modulation architecture. Unlike traditional subtractive or modular systems, Fabrik uses a visual node editor where every audio and modulation connection is explicit, editable, and freeform.
Fabrik features:
A fully flexible graph system for audio and control-rate signals
True signal-level modulation: modulate any parameter with any signal, including audio-rate sources
Clear separation of voice and post-processing domains to support polyphony and feedback workflows
Precise shaping tools including envelopes, LFOs, math functions, and custom curves via the Shaper node
Visual patching that feels like Unreal’s Blueprints or Blender’s shader editor — no cables, just clarity
You can pre-order now with 30% off for the next 7 days.
If you were a beta tester, you’ll receive a one-time 15% discount on top — thanks for helping us shape this release.
This is a pre-order only: access to the plugin begins on launch day.
More details and pre-order link: https://kreisklang.com
Happy patching — we’d love to hear your feedback and ideas.

What OSes are supported? What copy protection does it use?
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

We support: Windows 10/11: VST3 – x86 chips, MACOS: VST3, AU – x86 chips and Apple Silicon. We have our own protection systemaudiojunkie wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 6:28 pm What OSes are supported? What copy protection does it use?![]()

How low level can you go? From the website all I can see is pre built modules rather than something like Reaktor Core or Max MSP - a list of all modules would be helpful and are there plans to add more modules?

It is not as low level as Max MSP. It keeps things simple for producers (each block has input and one output). Its true power lies in its modulation capabilities, anything can modulate anything. We are definetly interested continuing to add new nodes, the first update will be a 2d wavetable / sampler integration, next up we are interested in the spectral domain, and what one can do. We strive to give what the community is looking for. In regards to low level access for the user, this depends on how much people request this. We've thought of letting developers code their own nodes in Fabrik... Hope this helps you out

Will the sample player has granular capabilities? I am interested in some sort of low level programming/ coding custom modules. It doesn't need to be core level right now, but like primary level.kreisklang wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 11:35 pmIt is not as low level as Max MSP. With Reaktor looking like it might be abandoned sometime (horrible thought, i know) you have an opportunity to make a new modular playground. So far Fabrik is a beginner synth but if you add the complexity (maybe a little deeper on the GUI) you would get a small but dedicated following.
Why are there two threads on Fabrik?

We are not sure about granular capabilities, not something we have thought of yet. But if the demand is high, we will look into it. I guess to some degree Fabrik does have lower level capabilities, such as a remap node, math function node & basic computions node (add, min, mul, div). But yea not the same thing as max. We do appreciate your kind words, and your understanding of the potential hereCrystalWizard wrote: Sat May 24, 2025 7:06 amWill the sample player has granular capabilities? Someone else can be the canary. No demo, no clarification of copy protection, no audio examples, no screenshots, no roadmap, ai generated marketing blurb, n00b introduction on KVR, no chat on Discord ….

It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

Hi.
I like the node-based block-building idea. How different is it in comparison to Hyperion, for example? Which is now a fully fledged modular synth?
What's the quality of sound, in comparison to other well-established synths, such as Dune or U-He synths?
I watched your video but there were only some kind of noise-like sounds. No music though. No music demo (music, not sounds!).
And I think the price is pretty steep... Just my 5 cents...
Good luck with your product.

It looks very much like KarmaFX Synth Modular 2, with a more modern interface. Technically, although it looks different, it's not really anything new compared to all of the other modular VSTs that exist.
You may have fantastic plans and idea, and the best intentions, but currently it looks like a modern-day sales pitch around something that has been done many times before and has well-established alternatives. If you are going to ignore what has come before, this probably isn't a great forum to do so.
That all said, unless there was a way for the community to create/build nodes, I wouldn't be interested anyway. You talk about everything being the same, but the three sales tiers gate just more 'presets' and 'nodes'... they're all just the same thing yet again.
That is so disingenuous, and then having to 'vote' to maybe have a demo, suggests it's a quick money grab.Sound design has become predictable. Presets, wavetables, and templates dominate, leading to music that sounds increasingly the same. But your computer can do more. Much more.

Anyone succeeded in getting a demo?
I filled in the form and requested one but received no link. Nothing.
I am curious if silky pads can be built in it, not just FX sounds.

Why there is a link to ChatGpt in this topic ?
Fabrik uses code from ChatGPT ? ^^
ooops we cannot test it or listen its sound examples without subscribe ?
The sound of the demo is closed, no really a good sound of analog sim... I should delete this demo, no body will buy something after to listen this demo ^^
