I guess since Kick Ninja, Kick 3 and Audija KickDrum released last year they need to bring something more to the table now.
I appreciate them taking their time with it, even if it takes longer than anticipated (this can only mean it gets better), and I am still very looking forward to it.
Thanks for the update.

D16 upgrades are no-brainers for me in the last years. Fair pricing and much improved sound, usability and features in each product. Especially love the new drum machines.EsmileZ wrote: Wed May 28, 2025 8:45 am Punchbox is my go to Kick tool![]()
I'm gonna update anyway on day one

Are you talking about Punch Box? A D16 drum sampler would be an instant buy for me.Cyforce wrote: Tue May 27, 2025 8:44 am It won't be a monster. Just better (and better than originally planned)....
Some new features need less time to fine-tune, others that were added are more in-depth or affect more of the concept, etc. It's hard to explain without giving too much away.
All I can say is, it's coming soon, really. Maybe not this summer, but definitely before fall. We would have loved to have it finished by the end of 2024, but as mentioned, because new features were added that offer more possibilities, etc., that takes time, and it's definitely worth the extra wait.

I just got this, but I can't figure out how to load my own samples. The manual seems to be outdated, it says you can get into edit mode on the sample browser. But there is no such button for me

Looking at a screenshot of PunchBox there is the Kick part of the plugin, where there is a button called Sample, just to the right of the text Mode. If you push that one you should be able to push the Browse button to navigate to your samples. You don't see that in your plugin?dieterlaser wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 1:13 pm I just got this, but I can't figure out how to load my own samples. yes, but the problem is that I can't add my own samples in the browser. I can only navigate through d16s samples. In the manual there is an edit option, where you can add samples. The menu looks very different in the manual and in any Youtube video I looked at. I hope they didn't get rid of that option...starflakeprj wrote: Tue Jul 22, 2025 1:42 pmLooking at a screenshot of PunchBox there is the Kick part of the plugin, where there is a button called Sample, just to the right of the text Mode. Looking at a video myself. When you click Browse I can see (to the left) both Factory and User. I assume User is where your own samples goes. However, it might be that you need to copy your kick samples to that specific sample folder in your file system first, rather than trying to browse for your files from there. I downloaded the punchbox demo. You can drag and dop onto the browser. At least in Windows 10. I did it with wav files if it matters.
