Not that it's a big deal, but why is it called Caterpillar on the main page and in all of your promo materials, but called Tiny Caterpillar in your cart and in the DAW?

One of the reasons was technical debt on the systems we have behind the scenes which we are currently working on resolving 😄

Ah gotcha! Wasn't sure if that meant there was a bigger version on the way.

(Tiny-)Caterpillar is actually a subset of our other plugin Butterfly where we originally featured the SpreadEQ but liked it so much that we decided extract it into a standalone plugin.

Well that's on my radar now! Looks very cool, will give the manual a look.

We have just released a free update for TINY-CATERPILLAR bumping it up to v1.0.2!

The highlights are:
- Pattern Switching
- Installer Adjustments

if you would to read a bit more about it you can check out the blogpost we've put together over at Darkpalace Studio

That's exactly what I needed to improve the stereo image on some audio material! I haven't found anything yet that was both functioning on mono Audio signal to start with but also doesn't mess up the Phase if the stereo enhanced audio played back in mono! I will have to try this out and Experiment further, but I'm very positive that my future projects will profit from it. :) What is the bonus of your full-version Butterfly plugin compared to the tiny caterpillar? I'm definitely interested in buying it
Thanks for the freebie for sure ! :)

Hi everyone!

Today a fresh update for one of our most charming little tools TINY CATERPILLAR v1.1.0 is live, and we've been working on quite some improvements!

BLOOM AND UI UPDATES
The UI just got prettier! The brand new bloom effect wraps visual in a soft glowing light that makes the whole interface come alive. Also the analyzer shader was rewritten from the ground up. The result is an even smoother looking display.

THEMES, YOUR WAY
Not only does Tiny Caterpillar now support theme and preset drag and drop, they also support recursive folders now.

UNDER THE HOOD
We have been busy with nerd stuff, too. Performance has been improved by using freetype rendering and faster parameter queries. There are some bug fixes and the missing clap on linux is now properly added. Also we upgraded to the latest JUCE version.

You can download the newest version when you're logged in on our website!
