Hi everyone ,

After a long while, we finally updated SynthMaster One to v1.6. Please check for updates inside the plugin to download and install this update:

Changelog:

1. NEW: Added Apple Silicon builds for SynthMaster One AAX
2. NEW: SynthMaster One now uses user email/serial from SynthMaster SynthMaster Player / SynthMaster 2 / SynthMaster 3 license key files if those products are already installed
3. NEW: Added side-chain (audio) input for the VST3 version of SynthMaster One
4. NEW: Added VST3 folder select dialog for Windows setup
5. FIX: SynthMaster One VST3 does not process poly aftertouch messages
6. FIX: MPE doesn't work for the SynthMaster One VST3 version
7. FIX: MIDI CC messages don't work correctly for SynthMaster One VST3 version
8. FIX: SynthMaster One VST3 crashes the DAW when exiting
9. FIX: Saving global midi mappings corrupts SynthMaster One config file
10.FIX: When the license key file is shown for the AudioUnits version, keyboard entry is not possible
11.FIX: When a preset is loaded, SynthMaster One AAX throws AAE -20021 error
12.FIX: Loading module settings from preset files doesn't work
13.FIX: Resetting module settings doesn't work
14.FIX: Pasting module settings doesn't work
15.FIX: Cloud access is not working for SynthMaster One

Great news
One of my most favorite synths ever:)
Nice to see update.
Made so many presets for it last 5-6 years,can't count them:)
If there is future upgrades,some sort of extra saturation will nice, to give extra warm.
But that's just opinion,i used to saturate everything

To future users - Don't hesitate,it's superb synth.
The low price has nothing to do with quality of the sound.
It's kind of modern hybrid - classic analog sound and modern wavetable powers in a efficient pack
It can make more interesting stuff and it sounds thicker,than many legendary synths from the past.
Ask for JP 8000 or Virus type sound - you have 16 voice polyphony instead of 7 supersaw or 9 Virus Hypersaw.

I agree with @VELLTONE MUSIC!! This is one of my favorites!! The only thing it lacks is Linux Native support, which I hope will come someday.

The arpeggiator has midi-out, so it can be a sober drummer when the 'real' one has issues
The free ProteusVX plugin has about 20 varied drumkits if needed. Makes for a fun weekend

Seems hard to pass at that price. I only have a question. Future versions such SynthMaster One 2, SynthMaster One 3 etc, will open projects made with v1?

Yes, backwards compatibility is our top priority.

and SM3 already can load SM1 presets (it can even load them into layers)

Hey, I'm using the latest version of Synthmaster One on Windows 10, and I still have problems with the FX section: Distortion, Equalizer, Compressor, Chorus, Delay, and Reverb are the only effects that work, the rest do not work at all. However all the effects work on the factory presets. It's just when I try to make a preset from scratch that it doesn't work.

"Reset to Defaults" and "Copy Settings" doesn't work with any preset.

Also, loading presets for the non-functioning results in the effect being replaced with one that works, e.g., I replace the chorus on the initialized preset with a phaser, load a preset, and the effect is switched back to chorus, but when I switch it back to phaser, the preset is loaded.

Not necessary, I already fixed those issues. a new build is on the way today!

The following issues are fixed in our latest v1.6.1 update:

1. FIX: SynthMaster One might crash when changing skins
2. FIX: Resetting effect settings doesn't work
3. FIX: Changing effects doesn't refresh engine

Thank you, that's very cool, when newer plugin versions loads older projects made with previous ones, instead to behave like a different plugin!
