Taupe Studio includes 8 tape profiles, captured from 5 iconic tape machines at various tape speeds (IPS). Each profile offers a different tone, saturation curve, and dynamic behavior.
- Tudor 810 – 15 IPS: Warm and balanced. Great for vocals, guitars, and mix buses.
- Tudor 810 – 30 IPS: Clean and open. Ideal for mastering or transparent processing.
- Tudor 810 – 7.5 IPS: Thick low end and vintage tone. Works great on bass and drums.
- Tudor 80 – 15 IPS: Fast, punchy, and saturated. Suitable for stereo buses and full mixes.
- APEx ATR102 – 15 IPS: Smooth, with a rounded top end. Tames harshness beautifully.
- APEx ATR102 – 30 IPS: Wide and transparent. Ideal for stems and detailed audio.
- APEx ATR102 HI-FI – 30 IPS: A high-fidelity, linear variant. Ideal for mastering and precision work.
- RevoLution G36 – 7.5 IPS: Rich and compressed, with tube-like warmth.
- Viki 88 – 7.5 IPS: Gritty and raw. Perfect for creative sound design.
